Dancing can less weight?

My friends lally told me that dancing is one of the good exercise for less weight. It just like walking, because our body is working and release lots of fats and we get sweating..She is right?

Yes because you're body is also working up a sweat and you're using all your muscles for dancing so it also helps you get in shape and to tone up. But if you only do it once in awhile and not all the time then you wont keep in shape or lose weight you have to stick to it.

I agree with you, i am a fitness guy, and ahas long has you eating less calories than you burn you should lose wight.. Dancing is a great way to do it, cause you feeling happy to do it, you don't feel the time, and you burn a lot of calories in a great aerobic way..

Hello blondie. I think you were absolutely right. Maybe I just do it always not twice a week. It can really helps me to less weight. From now on, I start dancing so that my body will back to normal. Sure, dancing is exercise just like walking, running, swimming, and all matter of sports. Whenever you move your body, even just to fidget... you're burning fat and calories and putting yourself on the right track to losing weight. Like any exercise though, you have to practice it on a pretty regular basis if you want to see any results. Plus maintaining a healthy diet also goes a long way towards losing weight.

Yeah, it really helps burning our calories and fats which can make us losing weight in the future...Better to practice it everyday because if you really wish to lose weight don't stop even one day because it might affect your body weight.. yes she is right dancing is a great form of exercise i have used dance dvds in the past and lost weight just doing 20 minutes 3 times a week at home.

Any activity in which you're moving for a period of time will help you lose weight only if the amount of calories you eat that day is less than the number of calories you burn. So it's not just about the exercise, it's also about calories in versus calories out.

i really do think so. I have taken many dance classes, and I find that it's a good way to stay in shape, or help you lose weight, or something. It's a good way to get some exercise, and have some fun at the same time.

The good news is that yes, your friend is absolutely right. When your dancing your body is in constant motion, you are sweating ( like other users have stated), your heart rate is elevated ( which burns calories), and it is excellent at toning your body. Especially your legs. I like jodylee's response on how it allows you to get lost in your inner self. I agree with her. Dancing is a mood lifter and what a great way to burn calories a night out with your friends. Dancing is also great for weight loss because it can be done anywhere. Your home, a club, a country western bar, professionally, for contests. Dancing is becoming huge in America. You should listen to the stories the dancers have from Dancing with the Stars. They say their bodies have never been better=)

hello amain..Dancing is not recommended for us for losing weight as long as you were happy what your doing. and take note, you can't always think that you will dance because you need to lose weight. Hi careguarden, it's true that dancing is a good form of exercise. I usually go for jogging in the evening. I dance at home in case it rains outside. As what I know it works well only if I could keep on dancing at least half an hour. The initial twenty minutes is promote blood circulation and I usually would dance for another twenty minute to release the release the excessive fats as well as to excrete the waste by sweating. During rainy season I could take dancing as indoor physical exercise sometimes even the whole week and my weight didn't go up at all Thus I believe what your friend told is totally right. Happy posting

I go out dancing with my girlfriends about once a week or so. I love to dance and often work up a sweet on the dance floor. I also dance with the kids at home a lot. I think it does help with weight loss and when done a regular basis at high intensity it can give you a good aerobic workout. Just like any other activity you get out of it what you put in. If you dance moderately once a month I don't really think it would do anything great for your body. I think dancing is also great for your mental health. For me, it is a place to release my inner self. I know when I am having a bad day with whatever is going on around me if I go out dancing that night, I can let it go much easier and get a great nights sleep.
