I receive quite a few text messages everyday... Some are advertisements, some are jokes forwarded by friends, lotsa messages from my wife... I just read them, reply when needed and leave my cellphone. But I do know of a few people who make it a point to go thru their messages once again at the end of the day, save what ever they need and then empty the inbox... It may also have to do with the no of text msgs that ur cellphone can store... I wonder, How many of us actually are that organised to keep doing this on a daily or even a weekly basis??

Hi. francis_ferns. I empty out my inbox everyday. If there are too many messages that are piled up, I will delete them. Especially, if they are text messages. I will get rid of any messages that I don't need or no loner want. I get rid of them so that they won't get piled up into my cell phone.

I sometimes delete them as I get them to make it easier to delete them but most of the time I just go through my phone every now and then and delete all of them that are interesting enough to keep. Have a good weekend!

me too. I also receive lots of messages in my cell phone and i do spend some time deleting them after reading them. but i want to share one thing i spend more time on my laptop in deleting my mails than my cell phone. somethime it is really boring and troublesome for me because there are lots of spam. i just hate spam.

I also receive a lot of unwanted mails and spams from unknown persons, i wonder how i am getting so many mails. I usually go to my mail box select and just delete it, i dont think there is any other options in gmail or yahoo or any other sites which checks such unwanted mails.

Before when I was no work and running only my small business I can focus more time reading text messages from my mobile and any messages that I don't like or something spam messages I directly delete it but If I found it's important and maybe I needed it for future references I will let it in my inbox. Now, the situation is different, I have work already here abroad and no time to read messages because most of the time we are using call here, sometimes it takes 2 weeks before I can check my messages. Specially when my inbox is already full. My roaming number, every night when I came to my room I read the text mesaages and I will reply after a week if the messages is not urgent. Just 2 months ago I got a postpaid number and since then I am very upset and annoyed everyday because I received moer than 40 text messages everyday and what the worst thing is I can't understand the text because it is written in arabic and I cannot read all of them. Another thing is last mont when I go to the office of the network and to cut my line and pay all my balance but they refused because they don't accept CASH, they want credit or debit card. I already withdrawn all my money from my debit card. That is why until now I am still using my postpaid line. I am waiting my salary to pay all my balance so that I will no longer use this number and I will return to prepaid.

I have the habit to clear my inbox and outbox on a daily basis, every night before i sleep. I don't like to have too many messages in my inbox as it takes up too much space. Though some are meaningful messages, but i can't possibly keep them all. It's especially the case with my smartphone when i want it to be fast, i can't afford to have too much rubbish in the phone.

Well, I usually empty my Inbox once every month. Every time, I have to go through them all to see if there's any message worth keeping. Not like you receive message everyday, I rarely receive message everyday do my Inbox is not that full.

At night I open my inbox and delete quotes.I don't have problems with inbox storage since my phone saves it in phone memory the thing is when you have a lot of stored messages it sometimes slows down when you open your inbox new messages.

Yes I am one of those few people, I don't like to make my cellphone works slower because of so many space consumed by unimportant messages. And I'm doing this on a weekly basis.

Actually I don't empty my inbox very often, just when the inbox is full, I will delete all the messages together. Because I don't think there are some messages I need to store, so every time I receive, reply and leave it. When it is full, just delete all. I think it is enough for me.

If you want to save the messages on your cellphone, just connect to a PC and transfer it. Or, delete the not-so-important messages and leave the vital ones.

its really frustating to to evrtym just open the inbox, read them and reply back. i get atleast 50 sms daily from friends, other fields. sometime i delete them without reading them properly.just look at the sms,if found urgent then only it stays in my inbox.ha!

I always get a message when my SMS is full, which is at 200 messages in the inbox for my AT&T phone. At this point, I can no longer send or read any text messages, so I am forced to delete them. I sometimes go through them and save the messages that are funny or meaningful, and I try to always review my messages after a night of heavy drinking... there is always something priceless! But, most of the time I am too lazy and just delete them all at the same time without giving it much thought.
