Ever met anyone through Facebook?

I have known people through Facebook friends and then met them while I have been on a night out but I don't think I have actually met anyone through the actual site before. I have done with a couple of other sites a few years ago but would do it if I came into contact with a new friend or even girlfriend. Have you met new people through Facebook in person?. I have online friends on Facebook through the various groups on there who I chat to just online and haven't met them.

I have made so many friends there. With some people i made very strong friendship. But i never met them yet. But may be soon i will meet some of them.

I haven't met anyone new on my facebook account in real life, only my friends that I've known for quite some time and met first before having added them on my facebook account. I'm really careful of doing that because I don't know them that well although I add them because of games like cityville, csi, etc.

I think most people on Facebook will have online friends they have made from various groups but they may have never met in person.

I have met loads of people through Facebook... some come and go, but a few stayed, and surprised me with their wisdom, their wit or the beauty of the souls. And I find myself thinking, without facebook I would not have known this person.

It's good when it works, I have a couple of friends on facebook that I met through other social network websites a few years ago.

Hi there lakerfanster!!!
I haven't actually met in any new friend in facebook in person.All my friends in faceook are my former friends and current classmates and only some relatives.I am very careful with meeting new people online especially when you haven't known that person for so long and that person wanted to meet you in person.
Well I havent encountered any situation like this before and if ever I will be faced with one I'll make sure that before I meet up with that person in some place I will have someone with me whether it is another friend or my sister.It is hard to trust someone that you only meet online,nowadays it is better be extra cautious of the things that you are doing.

It's always best to develop an online relationship before meeting someone you met on Facebook.

i have met several great freinds in facebook and i appreciate the site for that. i havent met anyone physically though. but even if they are all virtual friends they are people i confide in them, they understand me better than the friends i actually have
