How to lose 10 lbs in 26 days?

There are 3 overweights in my apt (that includes me) and after our New Year's Eve dinner, one blurted out "I am going on diet, starting tomorrow"
I told her, "There is no more hope for you so dont even bother"
Of course she disagreed and to cut the long story short, we ended up with a bet of losing 5 kilos in 2 months.
Sad to say, so many temptations came and new pastry shop even opened near our place, so here I am, one month and 4 days after and I have only lost 1 kilo.
What should I do? I can always see myself jogging around at the park after office hours, but alas, it is always just a dream.
Is there any special diet that I could follow for me to win the bet?

It is a tough task to loose weight, because it requires lots of determination which can help us control our cravings for at-least 21 days continuously. You have to choose either to let loose your weight and stop eating pastries, oily food etc or forget about loosing weight. Don't be in a hurry to loose weight and don't do crash diets to loose your weight within a couple of days, that is more risky. Go on slow and steadily if you are really determined and certainly you will loose weight.

I don't want to discourage your idea of reducing 10lbs in a month. But that is a very tough task for which you need to struggle hard. 5kgs means a lot for a month. I too love eating a lot, esp when it comes to ice-creams, french fries and so on... If you want to win in any case, you must and should work out hard, this is what I can say. All the very best.

Are you wanting to make a permanent change, or just temporary? You can either completely restrict yourself from everything good for a month, or you can cut down on everything and increase your exercise and make it a permanent habit. The more sugar and artificially sweetened things you choose to eat, the more you will crave them. So for now, drop the pop, refuse the pastry. Eat lots of veggies with out sauces, butter or dip. Use olive oil. If you work in an office, walk around during your lunch. Use portion control. If you must use a sweetener, use Stevia. Spend a day or two and write down everything you eat. Then you can see where you are going off track. You need to decide what you want and then go for it.

I've got a method but it's very unhealthy - Drink coffee all day instead of meals becaue it makes you don't want to eat and keeps you full, stay up late and only sleep a little bit. I lost like 20 lbs doing this for a little while, not because I wanted to lose weight but because I stayed up late to play cards at the casino and I didnt' have any appetite... I know it sounds absolute unhealthy and bad for you at all... so you might not want to try this.

I don't have any idea how to loose that much weight. I try everything to lose weight and I can't figure it out.

One tip I can give you that will surely work is to cut down on sugary foods and drinks and eat more fruit and veggies instead. I have lost thirty pounds and three dress sizes without even dieting or exercising. I always included pineapples and grapefruit in my meals. I don't drink colas or fruit juices, just tea or water. Also eat smaller meals. I know its hard, but once you achieve your ideal weight you will do anything not gain those pounds you have already lost.

For me morning only oats you eat and lunch eat one cup of rice with the food dinner eat only apple 4pcs after that you slim and sexy.

losing weight forget it.its not possible for me.i never did it.i feel so boring.i don't think about my weight or don't think how fatty am i?my friend always suggest me for losing some weight.no way dear i love how i am.

For losing the weight you must forgate about the pastry shop. Stop to eat fast food. And if possible drink more water. But not cold water. Drink hot water with lemon. It's really helpful. Take some food which cut or reduce the fat like sweet potato and cheese. Don't sleep more. If you follow what i say then i am sure you will loose your weight.

Thinking healthy and thinking thin will make this easy! Just keep imagining how you want to look and feel-healthier and fitter. Then ask yourself what you can do to make it a reality. Eating healthier foods and exercising a little every day will give you that fit and toned look as well as make you feel so good! Theres no magic diet, just you and the right thing to do.

i think you need to be doing some exercise like jugging and some aerobic exercise for your waist and stomach seat up. and avoid eating chocolate,food that contains fat and drink water a lot.

i believe for me the best exercise to lessen weight is doing an everyday duty! haha! moving moving moving moving!

First thing... Always think twice before betting
Ok, now that you already have, I can see the urgent need... But why do you need to shed those extra kilos? Are you in real need or it is just to win the bet? If it is a real need, take some correct diet and a bit of regular exercise. That would keep you fit and healthy too...
There are other ways like some drinks that help you lose weight over say 10-15 days but they must be taken with proper medical consultation and advice. The only thing that I can suggest is take a balanced diet and consult a dietitian.
