Recently since November me and my boyfriend have been looking for a Home right now we have been living in a apartment for years bow and what we are paying. For one bed room is the me price for a home monthly mortgage.
Right now we are about to find out our loan amount this month. Mean while we have been looking at homes all around our area I think at the highest of maybe 10-15 miles. Our jobs are all on the same main highway and which makes it very easy to travel. Right now I notice that around my area you pay for a home that isn't all that great.
So we looked out more notice that in those areas you get more of your money. Right now we think that our loan amount will be around Nd so does our realtor.
$230k- $180k
Interest rate is 3.99%
Lately we have been looking at houses and we think we found the right one haha. Just right now we a waiting for our loan amount our per-approval and then we are sure we are going to get this home.
-Living Room
-Family Room
-Kitchen
-Garage
-Full Basement (Not finish)
-2 Bed Rooms
-1 Master BedRoom
- 2 1/2 BathRooms
-Deck
JUST NEVER THOUGHT PICKING A HOME WILL BE SO HARD
The homes was built in 2010 no has bought it yet.

Dear Payout, things may be different at different locations and different places, I mean they may vary from one country to another country, but basic needs of the Human beings remains the same. And one of them is Home the remaining two being food and clothing.
Acquiring a house has been a big problem in any country in this World. I am from India, here in our language there is proverb which says 'To understand what exactly is difficulty in one's life - Just build a good house and get your daughter to a good Boy!' It is absolutely true! I have got first hand experience of getting my small house renovated in the recent past. Apart from the expenses you need to work like a donkey! Thanks to the modern builders who are coming to our rescue by undertaking this cumbersome job for us! Though they are charging a good amount for it, Still I feel it is worth it!
So with this back ground of mine I can really understand your enthusiasm , anxiety and zeal about your new home. You have done your home work pretty well and worked hard to have a home of your choice. Your efforts have given you the good reward in the form of good house which you have mentioned with living Rom,Kitchen ,Three bed rooms and other nice accessories at quite an affordable price. By getting a bank loan at 3.99% interest rate is quite nice.In India we need to shell at least 8 to 9% interest in Government Banks to have house loan!
I wish you and your boy friend all the best and would like to congratulate you both in advance on procuring this dream home! May God Bless You and Have a Nice time in your New Sweet Home! Thanks ![em]w00t[/em]

Hi payout, My husband and I are in the process of buying a home right now as well. It is hard to find a nice home for a good price. I guess we lucked out, we chose to go with an owner carry option. With this option, we were able to find a nice house at an awesome price. There is no way we could rent even an apartment for the payments we are getting on this house! I guess we really got lucky.
Good luck to you and your boyfriend with buying your new home!

Finding a home you want is always a hard choice. I have always been taught...never go with the first house you see, and make sure you go in each house with a paper and pencil and write down every single imperfection that you see. At least you have your boyfriends eye to help spot those imperfections. Good luck to you.

Hey Buggles, yeah we wrote down everything we want and need. right now I think we found the perfect first home for us haha. I know there is no such thing as a perfect home and I dont believe in perfection and that God is the only perfect person. I think that house is the best. Right now we have a lot of knowledge and sure and know what we are getting ourselves into. :)

I remember when my husband and I were buying a house it was hard on us at first. You have a great loan person who believes in the both of you and is going out of her way to help you both out. I remember when my husband and I started the loan process we had a horrible loan person. She did not help us out and when the laws changed about loan approval she did not fight for us. She was in it for the money only. My husband and I ended up working with a diferent loan company and things worked out great.

I totally agree buying house can be hard. Because you have to pick which house that you want to buy and you have to fit it to your budget. Event after you have chosen the house you have to prepare for the mortgage if you don't have enough money to pay it cash.

Hey Deearlene, Yeah picking the right one is very hard too. I understand that there is a mortgage to think about meaning way more money to spend when having a home and extra bills and stuff which can add up over time believe me haha. But I know when we get a home we have to very careful and just be safe and try not to move to fast or too slow but take a step at a time. which I think we are doing
