Use the correct amount of shampoo and not too much for your hair type, if in doubt use the mildest shampoo you can buy. Don't wash your hair in washing-up liquid, soap or other detergent; they are highly alkaline and will upset your hair natural pH balance by stripping out the natural oils. Read the instructions first. some shampoos need to be left on the scalp for a few minutes before rinsing. change your shampoo every now and then, hair seems to develop a resistance to certain ingredients after a period of time. Always wash your brush and comb when you shampoo your hair.

A few questions first. Are you male or female? I can see from your profile that you are only 37 y/o. If you're a male and depending on your genes, you could be experiencing age-related hair loss already. So is it in your genes to lose hair during this age? Are you exposed to chemicals that might make you lose your hair?
In normal cases, most shampoos and conditioners that prevent hair fall help. Just find one that suits you. It's fine to do trial and error. They won't make your hair fall any more than it does. That's what I did and I'm a female. As a previous responder said, aloe vera does work to make hair thicker. It just doesn't smell all that nice. Sometimes stress can cause hairfall. So if you have a lot of stress in life, try losing some of them.
