help needed

a few weeks ago I went to buy some games for my old ps2 console, but I didn't get any, I was wondering if they are still creating new games for them, since there's a new console replacing them. can someone help me out?

As far as I know, some companies still release games although those usually have PS3 versions like NBA 2k, Smackdown vs Raw, NFL Madden, etc.. Other developers such as square enix, though, release games on PS3 exclusively.

I think you can buy such a game but for this you need you look so many shop or online. As ps3 come out and its available so it's rare to get games for ps2 console. But i am sure you will get. All the best!

There are lots in my place but they are not originals because PS2 consoles here are mostly modded and so the DVD games are very cheap as compared to the originals.

No, it's unlikely that people are still developing games for the Playstation 2 console. They've pretty much moved to making games for the PS3 now. But that shouldn't deter you. There are a lot of great games for the PS2. You just have to dig around for them.

No they don't make new ps2 games I believe, as the PS3 is out now, it forces people to buy the new console. But with no new games being made, many old ps2 games will be real cheap, you could pick some up for about 5-10 bucks if your lucky!
