make valentines day special

in the philippines, it is a very popular day for couples, married or unmarried. a time to go dating, a romantic dinner and dancing, giving special gifts for your partner, a time for a very special celebration.
of course for families, it could be a family walk in the park, a picnic, maybe a few hours playing bowling.. anything that will make you bond as a family.
we do express love everyday, and this day may be another expressing of love but couples would surely make it something more romantic and special.
you maybe saying i love you all the time to each of the person you love.
but of course you can make one day special - like february 14 - a special day of the hearts.
how do you celebrate valentines day? in your opinion, should you make one special day to make your partner feel more loved and adored?

The Parker pen and ball pen set, which you and your hubby gifted me in 2004 Valentine day is still with me, that was the best and special day for me..
it is best to observe this day as a 'Special friendship day'..

Valentines day is popular in Bosnia and Hercegovina but not popular to me because I m broke with my girlfriend... I wish to all happy Valentines day...

I celebrate the day by making my partner very happy. I think that is the day when i should make my partner very happy in any way. I believe we should celebrate the day with our partner to make our partner special and feel very loved. All day we are busy but that day we could be free for them and make them happy.

This day is getting popular in india these days, girls and guys buy lot of cards and exchange with the beloved, in my family we don't celebrate this, but many celebrate this as friendship day rather, it is all the same so,

hi kal,
here too cards are selling well especially those that were made by very creative hands. valentines day doesnt have to be expensive. but sending or giving something special like a single rose and chocolates makes a lady feel very very special. 
i hope the professor sends you a "dozen" on february 14.

It is very important to celebrate love for each other not only on Valentines day. During this time, most of the establishment are full pack with clients. Though somehow it is important to celebrate this but I would rather prepare something more special on their special day or birthday.
