What would you change in Star Wars?

What part of the movie would you like to? I definitely don't believe someone can do that man slaughter like Anakin and then turn good, but okay. What I would change is that I just wish Anakin didn't kill the children, just that. That was just too cruel. No one who can kill kids or animals can one day be a good person at all.

I'd most definitely change the hairstyle of princess Leia. How can you run all over the galaxy and fight and shoot when you spend 4 hours/day doing your hair? And in the end, it's not even a good hairstyle, it's too traditional and makes her look weak and vulnerable. Besides, she already had a round face, so those things that looked like a ram's horns - not a good idea. I think that would be the only thing I'd change

you're right, is not that strong of a hair style but i think that leia is so strong, but so strong, that it actually make her sweet. now amidala with the same hair and saying she is pregnant, as she weakened her self in episode 3...that was really annoying, but well George Lucas is the king of star wars and he can do whatever he wants right? i just think there's no comparassion between daughter leia with mother amidala, i think leia rocks while amidala is really annoying

I wouldn't say killing the kids made Anakin unable to ever be a good person again. He did not do it for the fun of it, but mainly in a kind of mindless haze of obedience towards the emperor. I hated that scene, too, but I think they put that in there to show how much control the emperor had over Anakin- so much that he would be able to do so many unthinkable, horrible things. I would change a few things from episode three. I didn't like how Anakin became whiny and insecure then all of sudden- like the emperor flipped the switch- he was pure evil. There didn't seem to be a smooth transition from being good to being evil. Also, I would have changed how they developed Padame/Amidala. She was strong and sort of independent in the first two films, then she became sort of a weakling in the third.

i thought no one noticed that anakin made me wonder too but then I find out that the emperor, athough we don't see in the movie but it's in the books it says that been seducing anakin with dark side's ideas since he was little, now you get how he pushed the button and out of nowhere he just turn vader now amidala, yes, she is so annoying in the last movie, what a mashmallow out of nowhere, it's like the most she wanted was fall in love, now she doesn't need to stand up anymore

None, I love the movie as it is. I think the killing of children was done to depict the evilness of the dark side. It is a very hideous act and that's what the dark side is - pure evil. People rarely cringe if someone kills a man especially if they're soldiers fighting on different sides. But when someone kills children, it's a different thing altogether. But on hindsight, I think I would do away with the Gungans. Well, probably not the whole race of Gungans. Just the character of Jar Jar Binks. I'm not too fond of him.

Any sickness of the mind can be corrected under the right influences. And I don't think Anakin was inherently bad to begin, just used when the circumstances were right, and if I recall correctly, Darth Vader wasn't the nicest of guys, and the only good thing he did, was Kill the person that corrupted him whilst he was young. As for changing the movies, I think they did a stand up job, and everything that was needed for the understanding was included, mind you, I have never read the books. Sincerely and With Appreciation.

it was indeed an awsome job, i never saw a world like the one GEORGE LUCAS created. star wars changed the world and like spilberg said, "thanks to keep the child inside all of us alive"

Star Wars is not exactly wholesome. Some parts should not be there. Example the deaths of Luke's foster parents. Even some of the Galactic Empire characters are really boring.

I disagree. Anakin was just reckless. He had what a lot of us have inside ourselves which is internal conflict. His questions and doubts surfaced at his weakest emotional time. This is when the emperor took advantage of this and brainwashed him. With age and a clearer mind; thoughts and emotions change and we arent the same person we were before. Even though Vader was a bad guy, he did have a heart. If he didnt he would have killed Luke and his sister when he had the opportunities to. Many if not all of us do bad things when we are younger, does that mean it will translate to you always being like that? No. I did a lot of dumb things when i was younger. Some of i even regret. But you cant judge people from the past. Its one of the biggest fallacies in human judgement.

There are so many changes that could have been made to star wars that would have changed the story in so many ways. i would have let anakin's wife live instead of allowing her to die. I think it would have changed the kind of man anakin would turn out to be.

Well, keep in mind that he was partially (maybe more, my memory is iffy) responsible for and entire planet - millions of people - being destroyed in the original Star Wars movie. Killing the kids was the first evil thing he did, but it was hardly the only. I would change a lot of things about the prequels - I think there could have been better ways for the movies to depict his slide into evil. As it is it sort of came across like "oh, I'm evil now". But evil can be redeemed - with the prequels in mind that's pretty much the final message of the story and I think there's some truth to it.
