curtangel Some shows I associate with the time strongly enough that it doesn't bother me, but some shows I'll suddenly go "Oh right... no cell phones." They were too expensive and you had to watch your minutes or risk a huge bill.

curtangel Most of the time I don't think about it - but keep in mind this is a show about shrinking people and fantastic inventions. Cell phones existed at the time of this show, but they were still using pay phones. It just amused me.

curtangel Sometimes people agree out of courtesy (particularly in public situations) - I thought perhaps thats what people tended to do here. I haven't see any real fusses or arguments (I'm still new) so I thought perhaps there was an unwritten rule of agreement.
