I know there are a lot of great Filipino dishes. But what is your most favorite? The must eat even once a week? Me I have to have Adobo it is one of the most famous Filipino dishes even foreigners crave for. I also love Humba.

Adobo, tinola, sinigang, and kare-are are my favorite Filipino dishes. In fact, I learned how to cook these. Lechon and crispy pata are also Filipino favorites but I avoid them because of the cholesterol content. Haha..

I guess the Filipino dish that I really crave for at least once a week is Sinigang na Baboy or Baka. But it should be cooked either by my parents or my wife. That Sinigang should also have tender meat and "gabi" in it. Thinking of it now makes my mouth water. Yum!

we used to have an adobo at least every week. it is the easier meal to cook, afterall.. and it does not spoil very fast, unlike those of the other meals with tomato like mechado and menudo...

Humba, paksiw, and sinigang na baboy. I am contented enough for my meals if there is any of this dish in the meals. But my most favorite is humba and the fats on it will completely enjoy my eating.

Sinigang, my family loves this dish, Pork Sinigang with Gabi and fish sauce on the side. But for me, I can't live without my Corned beef with lots, lots of potato!

We really don't cook a lot but if I had the chance and free time, I would like to cook sinigang na baboy (pork in tamarind soup). I hope I got the translation right, lol! And I like it extra sour! :)

For me, it's the Sinigang. It's something that we here at home eat at least twice a week. We love it because it's very comforting, even on sunny, hot days. I guess the fact that we can use different kinds of protein (be it pork, beef, fish, even chicken) to this dish makes it flexible so we don't get tired eating it.
