Yes, it is a wonderful achievement. I hope that they can get the freedom and democracy that they deserve. All peoples should be able to choose their own leader. I sincerely hope that Libya's Gadaffi is the next to fall - he is just a strange, harsh and disturbed individual! I have friends who've been to Libya and you aren't even allowed to use his name there, people just refer to him in hushed tones as, "The Leader". My best wishes to progressive Arab people everywhere! People Power really can work, as the Egyptians and Tunisians have proved!

It looks to me like the Yemeni are in for a tough go. They are demonstrating but the state is taking rough line with them. I have read that there have been many injuries; don't know about deaths. I don't think the Libyans will be able to do much. They're too tightly controlled.
