Is the Moon eventually going to collide with earth, or escape from it?

We spend a lot of time worrying about rogue comets...maybe our real fear should be that giant hunk of green cheese we see up there every night.

Actually the moon is moving away from earht, not getting closer. In the early stages of earth, the moon was much closeer, and the earth rotated faster- one rotation took only 8 hours. Over the last couple billion years the moon has drifted farther away, slow our rotation to the current 24 hour rotation. But dont worry about days getting to long. But dont worry about our days getting too long. Its only moving away a few feet a year, and we'll all be long gone before that 25 hour day comes!:)

Given past history, I think there is a great possibility they will collide :)

Yes it's going to collide with earth. Based on a research done by Harvard's University of Professional Help, they said "The moon is going to collide with Earth." This is enough evidence for me because they said "This should be enough evidence for you and me and the entire human race. Let's make a place for you and for me.. You and for me.. You and for me.."
