Severe Headaches

Since August I've been having these severe headaches, bright flashes, sharp pain behind my right eye, dizzy episodes and falling. My most recent headache and dizzy spell has been going on since Thursday. I'm not asking for advice from anyone as I'm waiting for a CT and an US to be done on the lump I have on the back of my neck. I guess I was just hoping to hear other people's stories as to having had the same experience with something so scary. Talking with my husband or other family members isn't something I want to do as they are already afraid and worried enough. Trying to remain positive for them. Any discussion is welcome. Thanks!

It sounds like they are migraine headaches. I have them occasionally. My daughter has them more often. We both have the same symptoms that you talk about. Do you have also have nausea? Some other symptoms that I have are spots in front of my eyes -in addition to the bright flashes---and a burning sensation along the top of my head...almost as if the circulation is bad and it's "Gone to sleep" You know like when you sit on your foot and it gets all numb and tingly at the same time? Believe it or not, I often am able to relieve the pressure by putting the top of my head against a pillow. Many times it involves getting into a position that looks very much like I'm going to stand on my head! LOL Good luck to you. Keep me updated on your condition!
