What do you think about this IDEA on MYLOT ????

From some days, a idea in clicking on my mind about mylot.Its just a suggestion type which i thought i will share with you people and hope admin would like it too.We all love this site a lot, earn ,socialize and do many other things.But I think it would be more better,if this feature exists here in mylot. Now lets not keep more in suspense.The idea which i am talking about is about CONTESTS on mylot.Its really very simple.Just I am giving an idea that -
"Every month many new users join on mylot,or many users start many discussions(qualified ,the one which is not got deleted),and they just get paid.But how would it be , if there is a contest that "EVERY MONTH TOP 3 USERS WILL BE GIVEN PRIZE MONEY IN RESPECT OF STARTING MAXIMUM QUALIFIED DISCUSSIONS. "
Means, Those 3 users will be given prize money or reward for starting maximum number of discussion among the whole mylot population.
Reward can be anything, like ( its just an example ) -
1st prize - $3
2nd prize - $1
3rd prize - $0.75
like this.....rest you people tell !!
What do you think ? how is this idea to make mylot look better and more attractive?
Admin ,my humble request to you, if i am not violating any terms or conditions and i am not wrong,or if you like my this idea, you can work on it. Its just a step from me to make your site better.
Guys what do you think on this ?

I don't want to be a spoilsport but this would cause even more discussions to be started 
MyLot is not about starting them but particpating in them.
Please consider:
- that there are users from all over the world and that many do not have English as their first language
- there are thousands od topics that it would be impossible to decide (even for admin) what is a 'qualified discussion'
- myLot already reward active users as you can read here in the FAQs:

MyLot is TEAMWORK not a competition 
MyLot is not about starting them but particpating in them.
Please consider:

Yes, i know all this dear.
even you can read under my profile i am a member from 2009 onwards.So am very much familiar with this rules. But I am not ruling mylot or ordering the admin to do this. It is just an idea and i am asking your views. Thats all !
And , you last line is "Mylot is a TEAMWORK" . So now may i ask you what do you mean by TEAMWORK ?
Because, Teamwork means we can share our opininions, ideas,or suggestions all together and then finalize it too all together to make the site better.Thats TEAMWORK! I don't know what are you trying to explain through TEAMWORK word . Because I already know its teamwork and thats why I am here to share it with you all. Hope you get clear !

I still feel that any form of contest favours those who have a better knowledge of English and I know that myLot welcome users no matter how proficient they are.
Let's leave well alone because I admire those who have fun here regardless and having contests will spoil the atmosphere IMO.

Teamwork means yuo start a discussion and all the Lotters that can relate to the topic come and respond - then you comment back so that we can respond again and so on, furthering the topic so that we are all earning.
Just starting topics is not what is required here. There must be comments if it is to become a discussion.
Then think of those who only get here at week-ends, or use the mobile to post. If there is a competition which concerns 'the most' then many Lotters will never be able to compete

I believe this would actually improve the quality of discussions, as well as the participation. There are many discussions that are started, that should be deleted and many discussions that are deleted, that shouldn't be. I hope your idea is followed up on. And I would also like to thank you for suggesting this idea to make mylot better....good work.

When/if a discussion is deleted and you think that it shuold have stayed upthen it is enough to raise your concern with admin. If a mistake has been made then it will be reinstated.

In the past they have had contests for certain things, and many of the people who Won are the same people who are bad mouthing this site yet today. For some reason the problem becomes more about the money than the Fun you can have here posting and talking with others and just being you. Personally even though this sounds ideal for some, I like it the way it is.

I think a contest would make responses more unnatural as people would be thinking of their own interest and not really responding to the discussion. for example,"A" posts a discussion and because "B" also has one going they will not respond to "A" in the hope that that discussion will die so that their post will win the contest. In competition it's natural to want to win and to do so there are strategies that will make the basic rules of MYLot null and void. That is, just respond, discuss and enjoy yourselves while earning.

I think it's great idea! Not only will this invite more people, it will also improve our grammar and sentence construction skills. I hope this will push through.
