Zoloft withdrawals

What should I expect when I decide to stop taking zoloft. I have been on 50 mg for about a year now for anxiety. I plan on taking it for another 6 months while I am in school. What should I expect when I do begin to ween myself off of it?

You should consult a professional medical practitioner before starting or discontinuing any form of medication.

It is not recommended that this type of medication be discontinued abruptly. You are correct when you say you will be weaning yourself off of it. That will mean you have to decrease the dosage amounts and times and that should be done with the advice of a physician.
