Well I really do prefer to wake up early in the morning. But lately I haven't been able to keep that up. It is kind of unhealthy feeling. My tummy is growing out and I feel a lot more lazy. Do you have an opinion regarding this..?? Do you wake up early? If not then how you feel when you wake up late??

Actually I have to wake up early because of school. Sometimes I just can't and then i miss school :( But on weekends i sleep like a log. I really sleep so long and when i wake up late, I feel like i've wasted half my day doing nothing.

That is a problem for me. I feel like I am wasting the day as late as I sleep. I get up around 8 am, but I used to get up at 5;30 and 6:00 am. I have been staying up late and those late hours are not really that productive for me.

Hey Gardengerty, i can feel that you have a problem with your sleeping habits. Event though you may be staying up late in the night due to any reason but waking up late really is a wastage of your precious time. Early rising is a good habit that helps you keep healthy and fit. It also helps you stay fresh all day. As can see you are a person who uses computer a lot, you really need proper amount of rest for your mind and body. If you sleep by 2 o'clock in the morning, then sleep up to 8 am. Our body needs atleast 6 hours of sound sleep for the proper working of the body clock. Hope you stay fit and healthy. regards

I hate to wake up early in the morning because this is very hard for me. There are different types of people and I'm definitely an owl. When I was a kid we were going to school one term in the morning and the next term - in the afternoon. It was so painful to get up early! Now most of the time I go to work in the afternoon and I work until the evening. I prefer this even when I stay there late at night. I'm able to work all night, no problem. But I'm also able to sleep until midday.

Hey Fannitia, you seem to have developed a habit of sleeping late and getting up late. Sure is not good for health but as you state it that it is real easy for you do it then should not be a problem for your body. do take good care that you are not harming yourself by doing this. Mostly what happens is that at a young age we don't realize the bad effects which certain habits can give us in the coming time.

Yes, I have to. I couldn't be late to work. I live in one of the suburbs of the city, and it talmost almost an hour to get to my work place, which is right in the busy downtown core.

Hi Greenline, I can see that you have an obligation to get up early in the morning. But thats a good thing in relation to your being fit. so enjoy it and the 1 hour you spend traveling, try doing some activity like breathing exercises if you are not driving.

Usually I do prefer waking up early in the morning. However, there are mornings when I just want to sleep in. It depends on the day. Usually I don't mind getting up early, like around 8 or something. However there are other mornings when I just want to sleep in until 10.

yeah I can surely understand the urge to sleep on those particular days. Like after a cozy and fun weekend we have to wake up early on the Monday morning for work or college as the case may be. It really is a cumbersome job when it comes to waking up on the firsts day of the week. This happens with most of the people and is not a problem. You sure can act lazy after a long weekend with family or friends. take care

I don't have much of a choice anymore but to get up early because we have a newborn baby. Before the baby was born, I would sleep in late (usually until about 11 am or 12 pm), but I didn't feel that unproductive. The reason I slept in was because I had weird sleeping patterns as I worked from home and the best hours for me to work were between midnight and 4 or 5 in the morning, so it was easier for me to just stay up late and then wake up later in the day. Now, of course, I wake up whenever the baby wakes up and it's a great feeling getting up early and having the time to spend with her, so I wouldn't trade that for the world. :)

Hi. Xpertcomments. Yes, I usually do wake up early in the mornings. On weekdays, I wake up around 5. I have to get my kids ready for school. On the weekends, I may wake up around seven or earlier. It all depends on how much of sleep that I had last night When I wake up, I feel refreshed. Sometimes I feel as if I could use a little more sleep.

I always tend yo wake up early in the morning around 8 - 9. Because when the sun is out, I can't sleep and I feel motivated to get up and move. I like to do all the housework in the morning. When I get up late, I feel like I waste the morning.

I wake up early when I have to. Today, in order tog et to work on time and stop at the gas station - I got up at 5 AM. That's pretty early if you ask me. If I can sleep in, I will definitely do so. I like to sleep in on the weekends. I feel like after a week of working hard and waking up early - I deserve to sleep in a little bit here and there. HOWEVER - If I sleep in every day, I definitely start to feel a bit lazy and not very motivated.

I am used to being an early riser. When you have children in school, you have little choice. The school bus will not wait for you if you are late in getting out of bed.

Like you, I feel better if I get up early. However if you stay up late it is really hard to get up early. I know that as spring gets here, and then summer, I will wake up earlier and more naturally. I am hoping that it will also help me get back into a good shape.

Yeah, I do wake up early in the morning about 730am because have to work during weekdays. I will try to maintain 8 hours of sleep everyday including weekends. Both lacking of sleep and sleeping too much are not good to health.

I really really hate to wake up in early in the morning. But i was forced to wake up so early at around 4AM for two months continuously when my work shift was starting from 6 AM. I really hated those days and i wish i never have to do that again. My regular time of woke up is 9AM now.

I seldom get up early in the morning. I usually get up until 9 o'clock, unless there is something important that I have to wake earlier. If I get up too early, I would feel exhausted and sleepy so I can't focus my attention to study. Although experts says getting up early is good for health, I think I can't dealing with it.

When I wake up is up to the weather and the schedule. If it's warm and sunny, I always wake up early to do something, But if i have no idea about what to do, I will syay in bed until I don't want to sleep any more. In winter, it is always very cold, I think that I am just like snake which need winter sleep. I can stay in the bed and never wake up as soon as possile. But if it is needed, I can wake up very early even in winter.
