lost / forgotten excel password? any suggestions?

Help me mylot friends... would you have any suggestion as to how i can unprotect an excel file? I've put a password in the file and i don't remember which one i used already after about 4 months of not using the file... =( Hope someone can share their experiences if they had of the same... or links and other websites that would have answer to my problem here.. thanks everyone in advance.

Do what topffer suggested. I forgot my Word Document password. So I downloaded Word Password Recovery Master. It did not give me my password, but it opened the password protection and give me a copy of what I have saved. Needless to say, I never password protect documents again after that.

thank you zralte.. but mine was an excel file.. it only gave me one sheet from the said file and did not open my other sheets... by the way, is this safe? or will this software expose my file to the internet?

you can have office recovery software to get password of any of microsoft office document.. I have installed office recovery once and got password of my forgotten word document.. hope you will get too.. Good Luck..
