I watched the TV program last night and found out soem interesting weight lose teaching for people who needs to lose weight. I am encouraged by this program and want to start up my weight loss strategy all over again. However, I found out that eating salad all the times is just so boring and feel like that I don't have enough energy for the day. But I know that if I don't control my eating habit, no matter how much exercise I will do during this process will be useless.Eating enjoyable food is the number one temptation for any weight loss person, but if I don't control diet, I can never success in losing any weight. Each time when I looking at my belly, I know that I have to do something about it.Share about what you think about it.

I think it depends on the salad dressing that your salad may have. Those with mayonnaise could still add up calories. Have your salads instead in vinaigrette dressing. Also, your salads should all be veggies and some fruits so it could help in fast tracking your metabolism, consequently, will help you lose way.

Hi
Yes, earing salad can surely help you to lose weight. Eating salads is a great way to curb your appetite and add nutrients to your diet. Losing weight is largely a matter of eating fewer calories than one expends through physical activity. Salads are a high-fiber, nutrient-dense source of calories and are quick to prepare. With proper planning, eating salads can be quick and effective route to weight loss. The salad should ideally consist of:Leafy greens, which are excellent sources of vitamins A and beta carotene and are full of fiber. They will make you feel fuller while allowing you to eat fewer total calories. Kale, cabbage, romaine lettuce and spinach are all nutrient-rich leafy greens that make good salad components. To be of real help, serving of raw leafy greens should be approximately two cups and should serve as the bulk of your salad contents. But remember, Salad dressings are a quick way to turn a healthy salad into a diet nightmare - so avoid any type of salad dressing if you want to successfully lose weight.

Yes i think that eating salad is a great way to loose weight. To make it a little more interesting and substantial then mix it up a little with different vegtables and fruits and lean meats! there are so many different variety of health salads available on the net for you to never get bored.
There is another way! Steamed lean meats and vegtables are a great way to loose weight also you just have to be mindful of portion size when trying to loose weight because although healthy foods don't contain fat and are easily burnt off and used up by the body, there are still calories in everything that you eat that only exercise can burn off.

There is no studies beyond that. There is no guarantee and I think it is not. Because this food have full of cream which produce calories...
If the salad is plain vegetable. There maybe a possibility because vegetable will be good to our health and body

Well, I really do think that eating salad is a great method to employee when you are trying to lose weight. However, the thing that you have to keep in mind when you are eating salad as an attempt to help you lose weight is that you can't smother it in dressing because that is where all the fat and calories come from with a salad. I enjoy eating salad and I've found a lot of ways to add a lot of flavor to a salad without making it bad for you. One great suggestion is to use almonds and avocado in your salad. This is delicious as well.

I eat salad everyday with plenty of raw vegetables in and have done for many years now. I don't thinkg that diet alone is enough to aid weight-loss, but exercise needs to be added. If a person is losing weight and not exercising, then that could be a sign that they are not eating enough to sustain good health. Take care. _Derek

I don't think there is anything wrong with eating a salad WITH a meal, but it shouldn't be the only thing that you eat. It would be best to eat a balanced diet with all food groups. A small amount of meat or other protein is needed to contribute to muscle growth, starches give you energy to get through the day, and fruits and vegetables give other nutrients that might not otherwise be available. If you don't include all food groups, it is possible that you are missing something that is needed for good health. Just be sure to eat in moderation whatever you eat and be sure to get enough exercise!

Eating salads help, depending on what you put on it, they are usually low in calories and fat. Plus it can be a good way to get the veggies you need for a balanced diet. It is not the salad itself, it could be anything that is low in calories. You must exercise or use more calories than you take in. Losing belly weight can be very hard, especially for older women. It always seems that where you need to lose weight the least, is the first place it comes off. The place you need to lose it most is the last place it comes off. It could take awhile to get rid of your belly, so don't give up!

salad is a great healthy meal, however it is not that filling and so we woul;d be tempted to possibly add more to it or snack on other things that aren't that healthy. I love to have sandwiches with salad on, also love to make a meat salad for my dinner. It may be really healthy but it is not filling at all, so i tend to add loads of meat and salad stuff to my plate so that i do not have to snack afterwards. I need to cut my belly size down quite a bit so will be eating more salad stuff.

Salads are great. You can add so many healthy things to a salad to make them more tasty and less boring. For example, canned beans with a salsa dressing. Raisins and nuts are another good choice, colourful veggies. Make a homemade low-fat salad dressing using fresh garlic, olive oil and vingear. You can make a creamy dressing with an mashed avocado, low fat sour cream and lots of garlic.

No restrictive diet ever works in the long run.You have to eat 5 to 6 mini meals a day,and all of them have to contain protein,That is the stuff that will keep you from getting hungry.Add to that veggies, not only salads, some healthy fats(olive oil, nuts)but in small amounts. Also have fruits(not jus)because the pulp contains the fibre! An other thing you should do is enhance the flavor of your food with spices, they are not fattening and it makes a world of difference!Do not have to give up carbs ,just make sure you have the good ones like beans, qinoa, and no white stuff(bread, rice, pasta).I hope it helps, and Good luck you can do this

Personally I have heard that eating such things as a Salad can be very Good for you and help in loosing weight as it is low calorie, etc. You just need to remember to watch what you put on there, and make sure your dressing is Low fat as well. Also if you are wanting to loose weight find another thing to go along with it besides diet. Take long walks, or do some excercises, etc. to get your body metabolism working as well. If you are a Fan of Biggest loser they share a lot of Good tips there as well.

Actually i have the same problem as yours. What i did for a start is i stop eating much at night and avoid snacks between meals. The most important things is your willingness to what you want to achieve in weight loss.

there are so many salads out there to try and to taste and experiment with I find it hard to believe that you could be bored(and under fed). Use different dressings, add different toppings and look for new recipes.
One of my fav dressings that works really well for salads but taste great when you turn the salad into a pita pocket sandwich.
Dressing
Olive Oil
Garlic powder (fresh is better, but you may not feel like peeling and slicing garlic)
Salt & pepper
Salad
A nice dark leafy green salad mix (no lettuce)
cherry tomatoes (halved or quartered)
red onion (sliced very thin)
*chicken or beef
pita bread or those thin buns (look like hamburger buns just thin-don't know the name)
You only need enough of the dressing to cover the salad thinly. You don't want to much oil. The meat it optional, but is good for transitional eaters so that you get used to eating salad. You can always switch to tofu later as you get used to it.
I hope you like this as much as my family does. Oh by the way, it also taste really good in an omlette(sans olive oil).
