Hello Lotters.
The point of mylot was never really about earning for money. at least that's what i've always thought, since i got paid so many times since i got this account. but after being out for weeks i realized, it's not always about money, though when you get to stay here for long, some still tend to be obsessed with earning money here that they never get tired of words..and some just here to socialize and have fun.
Though, it's not perfect, we tried to make the best to have a good social community here with all the discussion here and there.
unfortunately, there are some of those who aren't really serious with talking. like some post are focus on increasing number of post and post combining "direct to the point with blah blah blah" (frankly, i do that some times ha ha
and my excuse would always be Exaggeration of the "direct to the point" but what can i do, this is the only site where my mouth is, not to mention beneficial since i get paid to just talk. Lastly, some are for "earnings alone"
Maybe, to some people like me, this has been the area where i can really express myself unlike in real life and those whom I met in the conference knows how quiet i can be.

Hello trinale,
It's not about money because if you focus here on work, you might get frustrated in the end. I know because this has happened to me before and it's really bad that I get to focus here too much that I end up getting sad and brain drained. It's all about socializing but at the same time you get the benefit of earning money here too. Have a nice day .

i guess its not just the money we get here but also meeting new friends, knowing some ideas from other people whom you didnt get to know personally but yet you got a chance to be friends even just here in a social networking place. the money is also the additional incentives here..lol. but importantly you get a chance to express what you think for a certain issues.

ive been a long time member here but recently im inactive coz busy with life.i remember when i was just a new member before i got addicted to it specially when u get a chance to get paid by just expressing what you think or feel in a certain posts.then a plus you got a chance to meet new people.

Don't worry, you will realize it someday if you are too much active here. When I was starting here, it's all about earning some cents ut now I realized that it's not that way. I believe a lot of users have tried imitating mylot but unfortunately, it's not that easy for them to maintain users because most sites who imitate mylot ends up being a scam then closing down.

What is 'blah blah blah'? 
I stay on topic in my first response but then when I get back to comment I will go off on a tangent if I am interacting with someone that I know well. I am not concerned that I am earning when I am posting. That looks after itself but I am concerned about having fun. I feel that there is no point in coming online at all if we are going torant and look for possible trouble spots 
If the 'blah blah blah' that I leave on the pages of myLot isowrth something then I will see the rewads for it. If it wasn't well, as long as it was fun, I'm not complaining
Some responses have to be straight to the point because of language barriers while others can be very tongue in the cheek because I know the user well. Whatever, it must be FUN! Robots don't have fun do they?

Well, I make sure that the BLAH BLAH BLAH is not nonsense as much as possible, it can help other people instead of making them bored. But it's up to them if they do get bored with so many post. I don't want to get into trouble here in the first place since there's problem all over anyways out side the internet world. You're right, we should have fun but robots have fun only when dancing...ROBOTS that talked are dangerous logical proportions. Have a nice day.

Community, I really do like that word. That is what the true spirit of myLot boils down to to. The fact that it includes people like me and people who are nothing like me, but that's what makes it so grand. There are many different people from all around the world. Really, would this community have gotten as far as it had without the people who post in it? I really doubt it.
Granted, the earning is nice. But really, it is getting perspective, thoughts, experiences and whatever else from everyone here. And I do seem to notice that those are in here just for the money simply are not going to last for very long. In general of course, at least that's what seems to be. Then there are some people who came for the earning but got really drawn in by the fact that this is in fact a community. Granted one with a bonus but still the point stands.

Yes, this is a community indeed compare to other sites because we can express almost everything but the tendency not to go overboard in terms of insults. The earning is enough to reasonable enough to come back and post what ever you want to post here. But it can be risky because we maybe being watch by some other people and disguise as some mylotter. Probably that's why being anonymous is something honored here.

I think it depends on how a discussion is written and how interested is someone in responding to the discussion. I often made fun of my responses and tried to engage the poster to comment further. However, most of the time they did not have time to continue and move to another discussion or they got bored of my comments...

That is right but unfortunately, most discussions are for the sake of getting more response and doesn't bother commenting on them. Unfortunately, I couldn't engage into a further comments because it's really hard to go along with so many commenters per one discussion. Hi,friend. Mylot is a community to share thoughts and ideas. But you can't deny that for most of people here, it is a earning site. Of course, it is this bonus make mylot more attractive; and its strict rules and free from spams make it stand out from other earning sites.
Yes, it is wrong to just think of money when you are mylotting. Actually, mylot is a place where the more you focus on earning, the less you will get. While if you focus you attention on communicating instead of earning. You will earn more money.

There are times that i do comment to a topic "direct to the point" due to my moods.
Yes,i am moody when it comes to writing/responding topics.
I admit that i joined this site for earning (that was before)
But i have learned to love this site,not for the money matter (actually,i never spent a single cents of my earnings here) so i can really say that,it's not about the earning that keeps me holding here in mylot.
I am also like you dear brother...this site is where i can freely express myself without thinking "who cares,as long as i can say what i want and i can express what i want to say and what's on my mind" ( i am not hurting anyone,and i never been rude to anyone either)
I will stay here in mylot as long as this site will listen to me andunderstand what i feel.

Actually, I can be moody myself too, and I don't just know why. We all did join here for earning and this site didn't fail me one bit but of course, now a days I tend to be relaxing a bit here and there. There are times that I tend to say things but as gentle as possible with out being too much blunt and try not to be much Rude. Am glad you chose to stay here, have a great day to you.

I am a serious community member both here and off-line. I do not believe I have had robotic nature acts. When I comment on a topic I am one who will only do so with interest as I read the entire discussion in total before I place a comment.
I do not believe that I have ever commented for the sake of points, after all it is my user name that will be looked at, at least this is how I see it.
I am one who has so much life experience that I can related to many, many topics with responses that come directly from my heart. I do not apply negativity ever to any topic, as I would much rather skip those types of discussions then get myself worked up. I have enough of that off-line so I do not choose to do that here. Unfortunately I cannot say the same for others, however I will remain me no matter what.
So I do not see myLot as an earning site by no means, simply a nice hobby that I can come to daily and share my interests with wonderful members.

I am a serious person too when it comes to this community but there are tendency that I could get overboard with so much reminding the rules. As for being a robot, I have seen this in some users who's agenda is simply to increase the number of post. This is a cool hobby to begin with, and nice to share what ever you think here.
