Living in a almost year round warm country, I used to wear a lot of flat open sandals. Now I found that my knees which did sometimes did hurt stopped hurting since I wore Health shoes. Do you think that shoes can hurt your knee and your back?

Definitely. I don't wear health shoes per se, but I wear Birkenstock all year round except for going out (sometimes even when going out if I am going to casual place). They really are great. I haven't complaint about my feet ever since I started wearing them 4 years ago. Before that, every other week I have feet pain or knee joint pain, as I have wide feet that are flat with toe bones sticking out. I love my Birkies. True, they are costly (cost me £45, approx Rs. 3000) for around the house flip flops. But they last a good two years even when I wear them day in day out, and helped with my feet problem. So they are worth it.

Hey zralte, I forgot all about the good old Birkenstocks. I remember I used to wear them years ago too. And yes, they are worth their money. I need to get some. Thanks for your comment.-

What to you mean by health shoes, i live in orissa, it is hot , even now temp is 44 c, will go to 54 soon, i prefer chappals and sandals, yes tight shoes can harm feet, my size is 12+, so i get them made by order, to fit perfectly.

We have to wash the soxes cleanly, if not the bad smell come out from the shoes, it is not correct in between four members. And coming summer will be so so hot. We have to wear light weight slipper which are easy to walk and live freely.
