I am watching CSI:NY and I am fascinated with the episode they had. I am interested with the so called Miracle fruit. Its alters the taste of the food you take. Like what the boss did. He ate onion like an apple. Instead you dislike it the taste is like apple. I was wondering where we or I found a miracle fruit?

I know where it can be found! Even you do! In Television! These "Concepts" are done only to fire our imaginations and make us fantasize. So let's dream of it!

I heard about this fruit several years back. If you're in States, good luck on finding some. I've been trying. No luck. If you end up getting the answer and know where you can get some, I'd appreciate you share the info with me? Thanks

i know that garlic is the most anti bacteria and can help our body to have more immunity. we have to eat it raw if we want the maximal usage of it. and it believes that it can heal cancer too but i don't think i want to eat it like that, i better to eat it in a capsule. many garlic are made in to a capsule in pharmacy right now

Yes, I've heard of it! It was on an episode of "The Dr. Oz Show" not too long ago. They ate lemons! Here's some info on it -- http://www.sharecare.com/question/what-is-miracle-fruit?partner=droz I'd love to try it too, not sure where you'd find it. It makes sour taste sweet, so I wonder how sweet foods taste?

No prob :) People refer to it as "Miracle Fruit," it's just the the protein within the fruit that is called miraculin. If you want to see the Dr. Oz clip about it, go here -- http://www.doctoroz.com/videos/miracle-food-cures-pt-2

I'm in Viet Nam and it's easy to find Miracle Fruit here. It is sold in the super market and at some certain places. But too bad, I haven't tried it yet.

Well I doubt if that exist here. I think CSI is a fictional TV series so they can mixed some urban legends into their sotires if they want and not all of the stories in their series are based from true story.

I also watched that miracle fruit on TV yesterday. I forgot the name but its a small oblong shape and have a red color. Its very expensive because it will come out 3years after. In Philippines it worth 100php each. As I've seen it, its really magic because whatever they eat wither its salty, sour, or better after they eat the fruit all they taste is the sweet taste of it. A Filipino from Luzon planted it and he said it came from Africa.

Miracle fruit is a small berry if it is the same one that I have had that you are talking about. It is a tropical fruit so it should be found near to you somewhere. I have had it and yes, it works! I have eaten it at this place which is near me. http://www.tropicalfruitworld.com.au/

magic fruit - sweet magic fruit, that alters taste buds
I saw it in a show yesterday (a Philippine show, Jessica Soho Reports )- it was one of the featured fruits. They called it magic fruit since it alters your taste buds when you eat it and after you eat it, anything you eat tastes sweet too. It's very expensive here since it only bears fruit nly a few times each year..it costs more than 2 dollars for 1 small fruit. (100 pesos)
