Online shopping is a very good way to get a cheaper price than go to the shops, but sometimes, online shopping is kind of upset.
There are many website famous for their discount, one of them is "Beyond the Rack". I have a friend who bought a staff on that site in the middle of Jan, and till now, he still doesn't receive the item. It's already a month! And there even no tracking information provided. So poor he is.
So, I think buying online is good, but we should very carefully choose which site to buy. Have you experienced like my friend? How do you think about those sites?

Yes I have heard about Beyond the Rack and I am actually a member and get their daily updates. But I will never ever buy from them. As the old saying goes "if it seems too good to be true, then it surely it"
However, one has to be very careful when buying online and research the website if it is one that they do not know about. I personally stick to places like Ebay, Amazon and Botegga Verde one of the many Italian websites I use when shopping online.

I usually do some online shopping when the product I am going to purchase is not available in our country. I usually go to ebay and or to the product site itself. Yes, we have to be careful with online transaction.

Usually, if you don't receive your order or have any other problem, you can just contact the webstore and they will sort it all out for you. I shop online all the time because I can't find a lot of things that I want in the stores around here, and I haven't had much problem at all.
Also, in January, there are still a lot of stuff going on from Christmas usually, so items can take longer to ship and have more of a chance of being lost. I suggest that your friend try contacting the shop if he hasn't done so already.

Shopping online is bad for your local community because the money isn't being spent there so the economy can't grow. Sometimes looking for the best prices doesn't help. Everything is made cheaper and with less quality because of that mindset. For me, I'd rather by a quality product so I don't have to keep purchasing it every 5 years.

Hi,
I would say shopping online is good and pretty common noawadays,But
better becareful if you don't know who is the seller because I do read the
news about seller gone missing after accepting few orders and payments
from the buyers.
Till now, I am yet to do any online shopping, although I have quite a
number of friends are selling those children and woman's wears.
I am worry about the quality and size, but one day I might try the online
shopping from one of my friend's online store.
The best part about online shopping is It helps to save the time to travel
directly to the shop and get the things that we want. What we need to
do with online shopping is browse the items online, select them, make the payment
via credit card or bank transfer and wait for the item to reach my doorsteps.
But of course, if we were to buy in small quantities, a delivery charge will
incur.
Lastly, online shopping is quite trendy now and let's go shopping !!

I buy a lot of stuff online. I am handicapped and it is hard for me to get to the stores. I only buy things off of sites that I am familiar with and I use a credit card that I'm not responsible for unauthorized purchases. I don't do any online banking and don't use my debit card as it is tied to my bank account.
A few years ago my friend bought something online for a Christmas present. She paid thru Paypal, so she thought it was safe. She never received the item, but it was paid for. She contacted Paypal but nothing was resolved. So far this hasn't happened to me, and hopefully it never will.

Okay, I don't believe in shopping online because of identity theft. I know that a lot of people have told me that it is not as bad as it used to be, but I have known people who have been the victims of identity theft, and I don't want to be one of those victims.

I know that there is a lot of identity theft that occurs online, but it's not something I generally concern myself with. I protect myself with anti-virus and anti-apyware software and only use sites that I know and trust. If the website is one I'm unfamiliar with, I'll look for people who have posted about their experiences with that site to ensure it's legit.
Besides, you can get scammed in person, too. They have ATM skimmers that capture your info and stuff like that out there.
As a side note, if you shop online, it's much better to use your credit card than it is your debit card. Credit cards tend to have much more expansive and lenient fraud options where most debit cards allot you 48 hours to report the charges or you're stuck with them. And they get a direct link to your bank account.

Yeah, ebay is a very safe site to buy. And I have the same idea with you, if I want to buy clothes, I will probably go to the store because I want to try them on before the purchase. Clothes usually look good on the models, but for ourselves, maybe not.

I have heard of this site and wondered about but never bought anything. I am wondering if this is on back order what the deal is. If it has been so long why doesn't he ask for his money back and if he doesn't get it then I would report him to the BBB. There has to be a resolution. If I had a bad experience I wouldn't use the site again.

Hello Marmot!! Yes!! I remember I bought a Small Diamond and 100 ties from India, through Ebay (to México). It passed a month and nothing had arrived... so I phoned India, I phoned Spain, I wrote to Ebay... and finally the arrived arrived, everything quite well, it was lovely, however. Internet makes the world smaller!! It´s great!!! Blessings!... Dainy

The risks of being victimized by fraud online shops is just one thing. I tried online shopping once and haven't tried it again, or at least minimized my online shopping activities. For some reason, I am disappointed with the quality of the item I get. I would much prefer seeing the item so that I could examine its quality myself before I opt to buy it.

Dear friend,
I feel it is a part of advancement. One could even order a dinner from home. Many those products could to available at door steps. I feel it is well, but it could affect those small stores outside. Still may in those stores too give their online. It nice may be this has to be well spread. Moreover there could arise fraudulence also if the seller is not genuine.

Yeah, food service is very convenience and I like it too. And it is true that big stores are more competitive than those small ones. However, there are sites like ebay that allow individuals doing business. But the fraudulence is always a problem especially when we can not check the item before our payment.

I love shopping online because of it's convenience. I regularly buy things online. I do experienced sometimes that the product I have purchased online arrive late or sometimes broken. A few weeks ago, I bought two cameras from online shop, which says the item will arrive next day. When it did not arrive for two weeks, I called them. I was told that there was a glitch in their system and my order was not noticed until I called them. They sent me a small gift and an upgrade on one of the cameras and everything arrive two days after I called them.
I am always careful about who I buy it from. I make sure that the seller's communication details are provided, and that if I buy electronics products or some products with warranty, I only buy from sellers who offer manufacturer's warranty.
I bought a camera case from Ebay India yesterday evening and it is arriving today.

I am not much with online shopping.. But my uncle have done online shopping couple of times and he got his item successfully. Yes choosing legit and honest site for online shopping is important. We can't purchase anything from unknown site. So better investigate about site before purchasing anything.
As per information i got, products in online shopping sites having more price in compare of normal shopping.. And even i saw the same in few sites.

Online shopping is more expensive? That really a thing that I have never met till now. Mostly the online shopping is a little cheaper than the real stores and sometimes they have bigger discounts. But, although online shopping is more and more popular, it can never displace the real store shopping.

Well for me, i don't really like online shopping. I really have doubts about the sizes and whether or not I'll like the stuff once i get them, so i don't usually shop online. But i do sometimes buy gadgets online. Actually i'm planning on buying a camera online pretty soon

Sometimes buying online has its advantages because we can skip the tax part.(Just sometimes) I bought a Canon D90 last year and because buying online, I saved more than $100 from the tax part. You know, the tax in NY is really high.
Hope you have a good experience with your buying~
