We all have heard about Firefox, I.E., and Chrome as our internet browsers. But have you heard about RockMelt? If you love the social networking site called Facebook, I bet you will surely love RockMelt. Why? Because it is an internet browser optimised for social networking.
I used it, and i think it is really cool! (and as a person who easily gets bored, i hope this browser will keep my interest for a long time. hehe)
Basically, the browser makes it easy for you to share links and update status messages and connect to your friends. Furthermore, the FB chat experience is different. I don't know anything about iPod, but my friend said that RockMelt browser makes FB chat an iPod experience.
Have you tried it? What features do you love? Will you use it all the time everytime you log into your social networking account? You can search the Internet for RockMelt if you haven't used it yet.

I'm glad to hear your positive feedback on the browser, akp100. It is really interesting. I just hope it will cover a wider range of social networking sites so that a lot of people from around the world can use it as a regular browser too.

hi littlepinoy,
Wow. There is a browser called RockMelt. I gotta see that myself! It is my first time to know about it and I would love to try it out. I am just wondering if the browser is as fast as chrome. I've been using Chrome for the last two years and I can't shift to another browser. But I guess RockMelt is promising and worth a try.

RockMelt boasts of having the capacity to make fast searches, among other features. So maybe you will also like it, the way you do with chrome.

Rockmelt is ok, but it's missing quite a few things that would make it a great browser for me.
The Twitter feed does not allow a "reply all" or "refresh manually" option. This makes it quite difficult for it to replace my Seesmic. Facebooks eems to log itself out every time I launch the program. Suspect this could be due to connection issues, but there's no reason for the browser to log me out every time I disconnect.
I do love the synchronised bookmarks though. They're a very handy feature.

Nah, Seesmic is a tool for managing Twitter, Facebook and other social media accounts. I use it primarily to track tweets etc.

I noticed about the Facebook log, too. Rockmelt messages pop up a few seconds before the same FB message pops up in the browser. You mentioned Seesmic. Is that a browser too? and a good one?
