Do you think it's possible to win a Paypal/Alertpay dispute against a PTC site?

Some of you may have known that I filed a Paypal dispute against Onbux 2 days ago because of the issue of a 48-hour pending payment. A day after filing the dispute, I suddenly received that pending payment. Some say it was a coincidence but is it really? Today, I received an email from Paypal saying Onbux has granted my request for a refund of $80. I checked my Paypal account and there it is. I was refunded the full amount of the upgrade fee.
What's surprising though is that, as of post time, I'm still able to access my account. Although I can access the forum, for some reason, I can't reply to any discussions. But I am still a Golden member and my balances are still intact. But I have a guess as to why they haven't suspended me yet. lol.
Anyway, what about you? Do you still think that you can't win a dispute for non-tangible products?

It is included in their TOS that if you file a dispute, your account can be banned. It is a sleazy and unethical way to avoid trouble later on if the program starts to fail.
But my guess why you received your money is they dont want to play hardball because if they do then Paypal will freeze their main account. If there are a large volume of disputes, Alertpay as well as Paypal sees it as warning sign that the account is scamming people, so they freeze it. Onbux people are smooth criminals in that they know they will be screwed, so they rather give a few more money than lose everything.

@yallit when did you upgraded? So you received the refund for your Golden upgrade. Does that mean you are a Standard again?

Congratulations on winning your dispute case. It just proved that you were right. It must have been a double whammy for you. You received your Cashout request, and your Upgrade fee refunded.
With all the controversies surrounding onBux at the moment, you are very lucky. I am very happy for you.

Paypal possibly but I still struggle to have faith in Alertpay, it was created at the same time a lot of these sites popped up and seems to mostly cater to them, I don't know much about their origins but have always had the feeling that they are in on some of the scams. Well done on getting your refund though!

I have a friend who says that if you have a problem on any subject, it if worth trying to make things right. I just had a deleted post here reinstalled. I just asked nicely to check it again. Mylot did.
If you are asking something that you consider reasonable, you might get a good feedback.
As for onbux, a lot has been said lately (I don´t know why) about it being a scam. I asked for my cashout today and had the money in my paypal immediatly (I mean in seconds). This is not the first time either.
I hope you can get your money from onbux (I don´t see why you wouldn´t). Have a good day!
