Where did you hear about mylot for the first time?

While I was answering another post in this interest, I remembered that I joined mylot years ago just to be nice to a friend who wanted referrals. I didn´t know what it was, did not have interest of spending time writing in a language that was not my own... And suddenly I find myself here, addicted, loving the site, full of friends, thankful about all the the site through it´s members has given me. Where did you hear about mylot and why did you decide to join? How has it been as an experience? Share!

Nine months ago I was searching the net for online writing sites that I could earn for writing articles. I bumped into an article where a highly respected online earning user was discussing myLot and how you could write about anything. I thought myLot was an online writing site when I signed up. Shortly after signing up I realized it was not. So I read many discussions and followed many veteran users discussions so I could learn. I did not post anything for three months because I was not convinced that this is what I wanted to do. After three full months I decided to join in and well the rest is history and here I am!

Don't you worry too much about the stars. You lose some, you gain some. I was at 6, 7, 8, 9, etc. and I'm sure I will be down pretty soon. I'm OK with it. If any one has problem with my responses, well, that's their choice.

I met at Pogo the friend that got me into this. Now I left Pogo this year to have more time for mylot. This is more fun for me than a canasta game.

I found mylot on a site that said it had work at home positions. I joined since it was free. I learned right away that I would not be able to make a living from MyLot but I have learned so much and gotten acquainted with so many people all over the world that it is well worth my time to be here. It quickly became an addiction for awhile.

I heard about mylot by accident, as I was looking for ways to make money online, without being scammed. I wasn't sure about it at first, as i wanted to do research on it, and then I found that it is legit and pays, so it was then I decided to join. I have never regretted that decision at all. I will admit that when I firs joined, it was more for the money, but as time has gone on, I have realized that mylot is about more than just money, as it is about learning and that I have done, and I hope to continue to do so. I like share with others, and see what they have to say on the same topic, as we all have different opinions, and that is what make nylot so unique, and the fact there are people in here from all over the world. Have a good day, and happy mylotting.

I had received an invitation from someone and joined--at that point, I just needed a bit of cash and figured that hey! I could write for money and get paid! I did it for a while, then forgot about it for a few months. And of course I got busy with school, so I totally forgot the link! I guess it's good that someone responded to one of my discussions one day, or else I'd have never made it back! And I'm back to be addicted again!

Are you dreaming of topics to write about on mylot? Do you daydream about responses? Then you MAY have a hard time enjoying vacation--and if you're really worried, find a way to record all new discussion ideas while they are fresh! ;)

I joined because a friend wanted a referral but thought nothing of it until I got involved. Now I´m wondering if I will be too unhappy in my vacations with no mylot for 15 days.

You can send her a PM asking for thanks. As for traslator sites, I don´t like them. A language can´t be tranlated to another word by word. I use a dictionary for those words that I know but I don´t remember in the minute or when I find my spelling is unacceptable. But usually I rely on my knowledge of English. I have read a lot In English, specially classics with good vocabulary.

Hi marguicha, one of my young friends made me a member of myLot. Before that I did not know about this site. My friend did all the formalities on my behalf to be member of myLot. English is not my language. But at last I fall in love with myLot. I have so many friends here. Some of them became very close to me. Really I love myLot. The money I get from this site that matters nothing.

Hi Marguicha! The best thing about this site or forum is we are interacting with our friends on this forum as if they are known to us since our childhood though they are practically from different parts of the World! This makes this a special one! Thanks !

I first found out about this site via another website called workfromhomenoscams.com. It's a well-respected site and I'd been trawling through it to see if there was anything a Brit could do lol. This was also backed up with a British homeworking site that lists the ones that are reputable with back-up paragraphs on each one. I don't bother with referrals. I just try to open and respond to discussions the best (and as honest) as I can. That was over a year ago now and I can honestly say, the money is an added bonus. The friends I have made on here I would love to have in the "real" world, do you know what I mean? It really is a wonderful place to be and the first time I posted a discussion and got replies, welcoming me to MyLot etc.. well, I can't tell you how warm and fuzzy it made me feel..and that feeling has never gone away!

I think that your feelings are shared by many people here, including myself. As you say, the money is just an added bonus. I have learned here and have made friends around the world. It´s difficult if not imposible to find referrals but I don´t mind. It´s the discussion I love! Take care.

I don't bother with referrals (with any sites actually) as it takes me all my time concentrating on ME lol. I know what you mean about friends. It would be lovely to think the virtual friends would be just the same in real life..and I reckon they would be actually.

My friend referred me to this site. She had referred me to a lot of earning sites, and now I'm more hooked at mylot than her! And I keep telling her to get active here because she earns from my earnings, because I'm active here. I've always loved participating in forums, and I think that the best part about mylot is the variety in the topics, and of course the 1-2 cent that comes with every post!

I was banned from yahoo answers because some reports troll is jealous of my top contributor status. Then I found mylot, I thought this is just a regular message board where I can answer questions and ask questions. I didn't know that I can make money with this site. In to rest is history. This is actually my second account because I deleted my old account because of some bugs. I have lots of ups and downs on this place and Moon, sometimes I enjoy and the conversations and sometimes things are terrible but I enjoy this place for two years

Ya know, I honestly don't remember exactly how I stumbled here! LOL I have been here for a few years now, which seems like so long ago! I really hope I am someone's referral, because if I am they are definitely earning a nice amount of $ on me with all the posting that I do. I do remember that as soon as I became a member here at Mylot, I was hooked! I had a lot more time then to be online and write here. Now I don't have as much time but I do still enjoy coming here to write every now and again and respond to discussions!
