Starting over....

It has been at least 16 years since I have sewn. I've decided to pick it up again. I bought a basic sewing machine and a very simple blouse pattern. After reading through the instructions, I'm excited, yet a little overwhelmed. Why did I pick a top with sleeves?!?! My Mom was my life line when I needed help but she passed away 3 years ago. So.....wish me luck!

Well done for taking up the challenge! I am sure you will find it is like riding a bike. You never really forget.
I have just been blessed with two granddaughters and I have returned to knitting after mmmm let me see ....probably 14 years. The first little top I knitted I was a bit ambitious with and had trouble getting the lace pattern right. But now 8 items later I am back in the swing of it.
