Radios are useful in remote localities. But now there are everywhere in cities also. Before four years people thought that radio is outdated. But npw again every one is buying radio to listen songs and news. Even though i dont have the habit of listening to the radio, my granny shows special interest on radio instead of television. Now my parents and friends all have a pocket radio with them. They love listening songs on radio. So do you listen to radio?

I listen to the radio while I go to sleep every night. Sometimes I like listening to the radio more than a cd or such, since you have to listen to every song, not just the ones you want. And so, when you get a good song every once in awhile, it feels much better(especially when there were just a bunch of songs on that you didn't like) :D

Yep. It is kind of like eating some chocolate or other delectable after not eating it for a very long time- tastes rewarding etc. If we ate chocolate every day, it'd be boring, just like listening to good music all the time(you've gotta keep it balanced :D

Hi singuri,
Listening to radio had almost became an extinct but now there seems to be revival of this habit. People are buying various sized radios for listening to music or for news.
Radio has one advantage. You can still be on your job while listening to different programmes broadcast throw radio which is not there on TV.
This is basically the FM tat has brought radio back to life. My father is fond of listening to radio.

I've bought a radio eleven years ago. The reason was that after a raining afternoon, the electricity went in the evening when it was already dark outside, so I could not use Internet or watch anything on TV, neither read a book, so I went to bed bored as I lived alone at that time. Nowadays, I like listening the radio when I am cooking, so I don't miss any news.

I like listening to radio news. I do listen to voice of america, bbcworldnews, radio france international, deutsche welle radion station of germany. The radio offers a quick way of getting information. There are some african community that listen to radio much regularly. This is because of the fact that the television requires regular electricity to keep it running. But with a radio set you simply go for a pair of battery anytime there is power blackout.

Hi singuri!
The Radio is very usefull and can pull you out from the boredom if you don't have anything to do.I have a habbit. In the morning when i get up i go to eat and turn the radio on.Its better than the TV,because i just listen i don't watch anything. It's also good for my eyes. And i like the radio more, because i have saw that the gossips there are almost missing.I hate gosspis!
If the cable TV stops i like to listen to songs on the radio.Sometimes they play really relaxing songs. My grandma uses a radio to wake up.It starts in the morning, when she has to go to work. And a little info from my electronic experience.I have build a pocket radio. It's great.Works on a 9v battery and the speakers are pretty loud.I use it when i go to the park just to sit on the bench and relax or to do some sports.I can say that the Radio is a great invention.

Hello! Once in a while, I still listen to the radio, whether its a news, music etc. I just knew that radios, according to the survey made here in the Philippines was still undefeated in terms of the highest number of people who monitored or listed to it, Any remote areas could be reached by radios even those that do not have electric supply still so, from those, I'll never questioned why it gained too much popularity all over the world. Good morning!

I used to enjoy listening to the radio, but after the Internet appeared I lost my interest in it.I still listen to radio stations, but only online and only those who play my favourite music. As for the news,I don't use the radio to find out what's happening in the world,I prefer television and Internet for that. The thing I liked the most in the past was to listen to soccer matches on the radio,it was very interesting to listen to the live comments, but now all the matches are on TV,so I don't need radio for that either.Unfortunately, for me radio is outdated.
