In spite of being a doctor, I also hate to visit a doctor and I have an extra advantage in it that my husband is also a doctor, though he is an allopath and I am a homeopath.

The last doctor I saw was another eye doctor from my regular guy. I took the eye drops and it has been about a year since I needed to see him. If Anything happens , I'll go back to my regular eye doctor. The last time I saw a regular M.D. was 1983! and even back then , I was forced to. I do trust my eye doctor but a regular doctor , No Way.

I typically average going to visit the doctor about once a year. The time that I go to visit them is typically when I am sick. The last time that I went to the doctor's office was when I had pneumonia about a month and a half ago. Before that, it had actually been about two years since I'd been to the doctors and the time before that when I went to the doctor was because I had strep throat at that time. I really don't like visiting the doctor.

I never visit doctors if I don't have illnesses. Magazines say that we should visit doctors 01 time per 6 months. But this is not my habits and people here.

I don't have a problem visiting a doctor, but I do have a problem with all involved. FIrst, you can't get in that week...it is weeks before they can make an appointment for you. Then the cost of the appt...I mean I know the drill, but $250 for 10 minutes is ridiculous! I feel guilty going as my insurance is going to be paying that! Then it isn't a "one appointment, you're well" kind of thing. They arrange it so you have to come back at least 3 times before they will do what is needed to get you well! Then it is the all day event....appt is at 10am, you are taken to the exam room at 12:30, and the doctor comes in at 2:00. It is literally an all day ordeal! You miss a whole days pay for a 10-15 minute talk! And then they talk so fast that they are out of the room, and you are sitting there thinking.."What just happened here?" ANd ask them a question? Only if you value your life! No, I hate going to doctors because it stresses me out so much, I am sicker when I get home than I was before I went for the help!

I don't go enough I'm sure. Maybe 2 times a year and only if I feel like I need some kinda medicine that I need a prescription for. Otherwise I never go.

I wne tot the doctor last monday. I thought I have hemorrhoids. The doctor said no. I need to keep myself clean but I stll think there is something else wrong. So when I have time tomorrow I will call to see a specialist. Hopefully there is nothing seriously wrong! I am a bit worried!

I know this isn't the healthiest way to live, but I almost never go to the doctor. Part of that is because I don't have health insurance, and I work in food service, so I don't have a lot of money to drop on something that may or may not be wrong with me. I've been lucky enough to not have any major health problems, though. If something was seriously wrong, I would suck it up and go.

I am not one of those people who runs to the doctor for every cold or fever symptom. It has to be a bit more drastic for me than that. visiting the doctor is not something i look forward to so i tend to put it off for as long as i possibly can.,

Last month actually and as a women there are certain mandatory testing we must undergo. Men also have certain tests at certain periods in their lives they too must have done.
I do not go as often as perhaps I should as I do not have medical insurance. But for certain testing I do make it a point because it is for the benefit of good health to do so.

Never visited a doctor for ages friend, the last time I visited a doctor was like sixteen years ago when some jerk with a truck run over a stone and it flew right at me, it was a freak accident, so I got like a few stiches, never sued because the owner of the truck was my friend it was a freakin accident. I have been going to the doctor maybe a hundred times but not for me but for my 3 children, for monthly checkups , child illnesses like fever, usual vaccine and all that stuff

I see the doctor usually just when I need to and I have need to get in for a yearly check up since January. I am a procrastinator. I haven't seen a doctor for probably about six months. I promised her then that I would come in for a check up in January but that means the colonoscopy I have been putting off for a year. Ugh!

I do not visit doctors because I am so health concious that I never get fever.
Our ancistors in India says that 90% of the disease can be cured by ourselves and remaining 10% is for natural calamities and accidents.

I usually visit a doctor when I have a problem. When I was younger, I was sick all the time, so I visited the doctor frequently enough. Now, gladly, things have changed and I don't have so many problems anymore. I think the last time I visited a doctor was because my hairfall problem, but the medication she gave me was useless. This happened almost a year ago, so I think that I am lucky.
