i have been having lots of trouble staying asleep at night, and when i do go to sleep i have been haing the same dream for a while. i cant remember a great deal about it but i know its the same.
the bits i do remember are, i am in a town or some where and i have the same people around me everytime, people i have known for a while and some family members, feels like something bad happened where we are and i am always trying to get away, to the airport is where i want to go, but the people around me are meant to be helping me get to the airport but it seems they are doing everything to make me late so i cant go.
there is more but those are the bits that always stick out. i dont know why i keep going over this dream again and again its just weird.
have you ever had this problem??

write the dream down in detail. they usually are premamissions/messages about something in your life. it may not make sense at the time but later down the track it will. one of the better dream meaning sites it www.dreammoods.com
u then can go thru the dream, and it might make a bit more sense with the different parts and what they mean.

You sound a bit like me. I keep having reccuring dreams, but I have weird dreams because of my medication. I am on strong anti depressants and a side effect is weird dreams. I have really bad dreams and have done ever since I was a kid. Have you started taking any new medication?

Hi ren,
Dreams are ways of to predict the future and an aid in the analysis of some the perplexing questions around us. Personally I don't take dreams that much but when it recurs again and again, something big may be happening in the near of distant future. Taking a look at my recurrent dreams and seeing them in the light of my present situation and the happenings around has aided me in my decisions many times before.
Try to see the scenes of your dreams and relate them to the events around you. You may get some clues to their meaning and may be able to act on it accordingly.

I had this problem for ever. I awnestly can't remember when i had not had this dream. It's really hard to explain. All I can say is that it's like this half awake form, when there is a strait line that I'm a little afraid will turn into a bump. The bump will keep messing up. I hate this bump because it makes my stomach drop and makes my teeth grind. I HATE this feeling. It's like a brocken record. When the disc keep replaying and makes you sad. Well the dream gives me pain. I don't get it as often, as a kid ,but i always get when ever i'm sick.

I've had recurring dreams plenty of times. I used to always dream that I was being chased like they wanted to kill me and I would always be running. I would hide up in the closet and whoever it was (some man) that was after me would look in the closet but it would be like he didn't even see me.
I would also always dream that I'd miss the school bus before and after school.

Our subconscious often tries to communicate to us through our dreams. When we don't get the message, sometimes we will have recurring dreams, or the same dream over and over. I suggest that you try to decode this dream and find out what your subconscious is trying to get across.
This is what I think you should do. Right before you go to bed, get a notebook or paper and title it something like, "my dream" and put the date at the top. Repeat this in your head or aloud, "I will remember my dream and write it down as soon as I wake up." ---or whatever, lol. This is all just to help you remember. It sounds dumb, but it works.
Then, when you wake up, write your dream down (even if it's not the recurring one) Write everything that you can remember about it. Maybe you will have the same dream over and over, but will be able to remember different parts. Continue to log your dreams for about a week, or however long you want, and then look up the different symbols that you find in your dreams.
A good way to do this is the website dreammoods.com. I like to use this because all you have to do is type a keyword in the search. Of course it is not something to live by, as the meanings of symbols differ between people, but it's a good start and can give you a good idea.

No, I can't say I've had the same problem.
I always thought that dreams are your sub-conscious trying to tell you something. If it is happening over and over again, then I would think that there is some truth that you keep denying, or you keep trying to hide within you.
If I were a psychiatrist, I would say that you have a desire to get away, to travel somewhere else. But your responsibilities to the people around wouldn't let you.
Luckily, I am not a psychiatrist.

ok 1st the ppl u c around u and in the dream state r not really the ppl u know if u should ask them if they have that same dream as u they r going to say no,the dream state is an out of body experience happening in another universe known as the astral universe, the out of body state is an unaware state that is y it is called dream travel, when u know the aware state and have mastered the art it is known as soul travel, now the dream u keep getting about want to go and is been held back, that state of consiousness is happening here in the physical world, however u r here in ur state of movements thats how it is going to b when ur out of the body,so if ur going to make a move just make it,no one is holding u back but urself,i am a soul traveller so i understand the movements of dream,i no longer dream i soul travel i take charge of the outer body movements, every dream u get has to do with how ur thinking or how u act,so in the dream state its very confusing but to take charge of the confusion take charge of it here 1st.it starts with u,

Well I had sleeping troubles. This happened when I broke my sleeping patterns.
With regards to the dreams I also encountered repeated dreams. It goes over and over again. It was a dream of a man wearing a white shirt. I have no idea who he was because every time I dream about him he would always have his back facing me. I took it as a sign. And waited and waited until one night I saw his face. It was of someone I never before knew. But what's more exciting is that after a month I saw him, real and personified. Now we are bound to be married next year. It was heaven sent. I could never been this hppy if I were not guided by that dream. :)
