As a boy of sixteen I dont want to be a child again. Why do you feel you have to be a child? As a child you are dependent on others. You are not free. It is the horrible part of being a child. I want to be free. So I wanted get out of the chains of my parents. I wanted to live the life I decide and not my parents decide.

I would not want to be a child again. I enjoy my freedom and independence too much. I would rather remain an adult. When I was a child I wanted to be older, and I was never interested in being a child. I am in a place in my life that I like, and would prefer to stay here.

I don't want to be a child again. When I was a child I had less problems and rethings. sponsibilities, but I wasn't able to make my own decisions and I had to do what my parents said. I didn't have to worry about rent, bills, relationship problems and the other things that are a part of your life when you are an adult, but I still don't want to go back to that time. The freedom and the independence that I have as an adult are very important to me, and I don't want to give up those

There are a lot of times that I wish that I was able to return to the innocence of childhood. I loved being able to think that the world could be whatever I made of it and since I've been an adult, I realize that I can't have anything that I want in the world. However, I also don't wish to be in my childhood again because I wouldn't have the great family and husband that I have today and I would really miss that.

Sometimes when i feel frustrated with a situation, i have that feeling that I would want to be a child again. a chance to live life differently seems like a treat at those times when i feel down trodden by life. i usually overcome this feeling in time and i wonder if being a child again would make life better or just create different problems.

I wish to be at times when I see a child playing with water, smiling on flowers and doing lot many other things which we as a big man/women just forget after being so busy in our life to make money. Being child I can live all those moments which I could not realize as a child but now I can just feel those precious moments.
Thank You for sharing.

I will rather think of how to get the pleasure i used to enjoy when i was a child than thinking of becoming a child again which i know is not possible.

Hi Tushavi, I think your English is fine especially since it's not your native tongue and there is there is no need to apologize. As for being a child again, many people feel this was sometimes although we realize that it cannot be that way, at least not in this lifetime. It's easy to get tired of the struggle to service and long for simpler days. Blessings.

No, I don't wish to be a child again. I had no control over my life and was dependent on many people. Sure, there were some nice times but if I was having fun and Mom said I had to do something else, I had to do it.
I do wish I could re-capture that mindset, the fun loving attitude that did not worry about the future. But we can do that for brief periods and it's like being a child again. Work on that, Tushavi. Take some time at least once a week when you can go to an isolated place or some place fun and not worry about the future or the pressures of your life. It's the next best thing to being a child again!
(and stop apologizing for your English, you're doing great!)

I don't really wish I'll be a child again.I have a side of me that is perpetually youthful.I love cartoons.I have a collection of character figures.I love colors.I love simple things.I am always in touch with my inner child.

There are days when I wish I can turn back time again. How nice it would be to still live with my parents, my Dad alive and well, and my Mom happy. Nothing to worry about, board and lodging already taken cared of, I don't have to work in order to survive and I have no one else to be responsible for.
But to be honest, I don't think I want to go back to that stage in my life. I like my life right now. It isn't a fairytale and I get stressed on some days, but I'm happy. I have a man who loves me, independence, and the assurance that I can take care of myself when push comes to shove. :)

Once I wanted to go back to a childhood episode so carefree, serene life, full of song and color, but noted with amazingly that even then was not ok, for that I wanted to not have been so naive in comparison with other children. Time went by their sincerity and naivete or diminished, but now I do not want to go back to the past ... I like the age at which I arrived and I would not give for nothing in the world this time, than the same age with wisdom May high, without having gone through the turmoil of life that shape ... But I would like my life had more purpose, more core, with each day that passed, have not made many mistakes and have developed several virtues, I do not indulge in weakness ...
