Where does Braveheart come on your list of favourite films?

Braveheart is not my fav movie, but is indeed one that i treasure very much :D

It really is a wonderful film. It's rather historically inaccurate (as all these things are!) but it encourages an interest in real history too, so that's always a positive thing. Plus it's so beautifully acted and shot, it's always a treat to watch. A real triumph of storytelling and that's what a good film should be. I even have the soundtrack because that's really good to listen to in its own right.

I liked it very much and it is the kind of movie I watch again when they give it on TV. But there are lots of pictures I have liked better in my life. Probably I would have to make a list by genre. Romance cannot be compared with history movies or war movies. But talking about Mel Gibson, I liked better The passion of the Christ than Braveheart although the ache was almost unbearable.

It's one of the all time greats for me. Mel Gibson did quite a lot of research in this and spent hours just listening to the music score when it was in the making. I've actually placed this as one of my "all-time collection". I can't forget the cry of "F-r-e-e-d-o-m!" - a theme that runs through the political history of nations - at the last moment of William Wallace's life. As you have said, ABSOLUTE QUALITY!

yeah this is grear movie, i never feel boring to watch it. Everytime tv station play i always watch it. Fantastic movie

Stunning movie! It will definitly grow to be a classic. Although it is not my favourite, it's definitely in my top 5.
