there are several different breeds of bob's you could have or a Manx which are the most popular. when you say colors do you mean she has different colors? and which colors are they?

they yes her coloring is a calico but as a said calico is just teh name for the type of coloring pattern she has my best guess would be that she is a Manx calico

Manx or manx mix, possibly. My uncle has two and they both don't have tails! That's actually the defining trait of the breed. There might be other tail-less breeds though... Hm.

Yeah, I would think this cat is a Manx, though if I'm not mistaken there are a handful of other tail-less breeds.

yea the missing tail in the Manx cats is genetically dominant so if its a Manx mix it most likely wouldn't ave a tail either like you said

Well there's one called a Manx that has no tail. And then there is a possiblity, not sure where you live though, it might be a mixed breed of a bobcat. I had one when I was little....if it is mixed bobcat it will have tips on the ears.

I live in Kentucky. She has three colors and very long legs.

three colors makes her a calico but calico is just a name for the coloring which can be found in almost any breed of cat

If she was born with out a tail.. she would probably be a Manx or Manx mix. if she lost it in an accident then ..who knows. a great way to tell is that Manx cats actually have slightly longer back legs. they seem to hop around more like a rabbit.. but maybe that's because they don't have a tail to help them with their balance when they run.

Now you say that, something curious about her is that she jumps with her four legs at the same time, very funny. And yes, she has looong legs.

It usually would be a manx but could be a bob cat cross with a regular cat. This has happened at times.

Your kitty is probably a mixed breed....with Manx somewhere in the heritage. Manx's don't have tails. That's the only breed I know of with no tail. Check it out in an online search.

maybe you should post her picture so that it's much easier to of what breed she is, sometimes it's not the tail that tells the breed of a specie ears, nose, face even the built of the body can even help in detecting a breed
