Well, if you've already fed him a few times, I'd say you now have a cat. He has decided that he is going to live there. Cats do that. I've had several that just walk up and say they're going to live at my house. Street cats are going to go where the food is.

Be very sure you want to own him. When you adopt any pet, you are taking on a responsibility toward that pet. You are promising the pet that you will love it, feed it, groom it, see that its medical needs are met, and protect it from all harm for the rest of its life. If you are not prepared to give the new pet plenty of your time and money, then you don't need to adopt it. It would be better to take it to a shelter where it will have a chance to be adopted and receive those things. Feeding a cat out in the yard is not 'owning' a pet.

go to my profile, look at my photos, there's a picture of a cat in a "Wanted" poster, that's the stray I feed until I could bring him in!

It's a nice cat and friendly, huh! My cat is also kind and he give way to my other cat when ever he is eating and the other one came and eat at his bowl also. He doesn't fight with the other cat and just let the other cat eat, and when that cat is done and leave, he will just go back to the bowl and eat.

Yes hachi is like that too...cats are really nice, but most people here hates them, I had the feeling that the cats residing here knows me because it seems like when i'm around or passing by them they don't run away, I wonder if hachi has told them i don't hurt cats?hmmmnnnn

if you keep giving him food he most likely will keep coming back unless he find "better" food else were cats are creatures of habit and once he's gotten in the habit of coming over for food he will generally keep coming the best thing would be to feed him at the same time everyday you will soon realize he will be there everyday at that time

wow! okay, but before i feed him recently, he was often seen sleeping,on our ground and i tried talking to him then, that started our bond, especially when I gave him fish, he seemed to know me when I arrive at home, last night he was at our door step, and I called him then he rub himself on my feet, but there was a time that he let me touch him, but when I almost touch the part near his neck he bite me, but not that severe i did not get wound only a tiny scratch on my hand...what does that mean?

he's just being a typical cat lol most cats only want attention when they want it he didn't want you touching him so he told you this doesn't mean he doesn't like you though just that he doesn't want to be touched when he doesn't want to be touched. It sounds like he's already figured out your going to feed him so i would just continue with that he's probably loving the attention he's getting as well
