I really want to be in a bridal dress...

When we were married, we didn't do any wedding, ceremony or anything... What woman doesn't want to wear bridal dress once in their life? We thought we could do something later for this but we are too poor to do so. I don't want to be looking old in the bridal dress... I wonder how much does it cost to take those pictures? rental + taking pictures. Do you have any idea?

I guess I am just like you. We got married in the registrar's office. We planned on doing it secretly with few friends to witness. My husband's family got wind of it about 3 days before (because of unauthorised mail opened by the grandma) and there was a bit of celebration. We planned to do the whole nine yards 'later on'. I guess the 'later on' never came to the 'NOW'. I stopped dreaming about the second wedding (except for when the kids became older, what woman can really stop dreaming about wedding). I don't know anything about the rates in your area or anywhere else for that matter. Why don't you do a search on the internet? Oh...do post those pictures when you get them. P.S: Now you've given me an idea what I'm going to do for the next wedding anniversary - may be leave it for the 10th anniversary in 3 years time. Thanks for the idea.

Its a lot. My daughter just got married. I dont know actual prices but i do know they payed way to much. She found out it cost as much to rent the dress as it did to buy one so she bought one. She also bought me a dress. She had listed them on ebay without responce so them she took them to a shop and sold them both for way less then it cost my dress alone. I feel she was ripped off. Her dress was around $500 and mine was around $150. She got less than $100 for both of these brand new dress that were only worn one time exactly. And that was just for the dresses. Later she found out that her husband had actually skipped out on a few bills to pay for this occasion. But anyway she wanted a fancy wedding. They had already been together for 7 years and have 2 kids together. Their son was the ring bearer and their daughter was the flower girl. It was tons of fun anyways. They even hired a limo. I think she spent around $1,000. and i dont know how much he paid. I got to stay with the kids while they took a mini honeymood for 3 days.

That's nice, I have no idea how much a bridal dress costs, I thought couple hundred bucks will do it... I bet the 500 dress must be very fancy.

I would try going to op shops. I don’t know if you have any where you live but here in Australia there are many around the suburbs and I’ve seen wedding dresses for as little as $25 which is definitely a bargain price for bridal wear. I hope you do find a dress so you can experience being a bride. I bought my sister’s bridesmaid outfit at a car boot sale for twenty bucks, paid fifteen dollars for alterations and she looked fantastic on the day. Good luck!

Hi, Wearing a wedding gown on the wedding day is every woman's dream and it is once in a lifetime and some women even special order brand new wedding gown on their wedding day. For me, I don't expect a brand new wedding gown. As long as the gown looks simply and nice on my body,it is fine. I am lucky that on my wedding day, I wear the simple gown that I chose myself and have simple wedding dinner with my close relatives, both from husband and my own side. You are never too late for your wedding photo shots. I am not aware on how is the package price at this moment, you can simply check out any special package from the bridal shops. Go and do some comparison amongst the prices and get the best package that suit your needs and budget. Maybe you can suggest to have photo shot on your wedding anniversary day,it will be a special gift for you and your life partner.

How sweet and yes anyone wanting to have the experience should definitely if financially able to do so. It really depends on how many poses, styles and framing. High quality can run like $700 as a minimum but then it depends on the photography studio.

I won't cost you a lot of money to take those pictures. Just go to a wedding dress photo taking store. First ask about the price, choose a suitable one, allow you a couple of days to do it.
