Many years ago I heard about Biorhythms. It sounded like a reasonable concept so I spent several days charting mine from my birth. I was quite stunned when checking over a period of time to find how accurate they are.
Even some airline companies will not let their pilots fly when all the rhythms are in the lowest area.
What are biorhythms? Put simply in my own words, a while back in the beginning of the last century, a doctor discovered that his patients were going through phases. He divided the areas into Intellectual, Physical and Emotional and found that these phases curved in a cycle; the mental was 33 days, the Emotional, 28 days and the Physical every 23 days.
If you follow the chart you will see that when you 3 areas are all in the high area of the curve you will have a couple of absolutely great days. When they are all in the lower area, you are likely to be ill. Because of the variation in number of days the curves can vary greatly. You can see the day you are tripping over or having crappy that your Physical curve will be low but mentally, you might be feeling very clever because your Mental curve is high and your emotions could be on an even keel with the curve for that day in the middle.
Bottom line, it works for me.
Here's the site:
http://www.bio-chart.com/
enter your birth date and check your rhythms for today. Does it give an accurate description of you? Bookmark the page and check back every few days and I promise you will be amazed.

Okay, that was interesting, but I haven't figured out the today with the * and the positive and negative numbers, which ironically I am frustrated with since I am working with positive and negative numbers in math..
It does show my intellect was not as high, but I got all my math done, even though I struggled, but I have been struggling since I started this part of it. My emotions are high due to being upset over my neighbor having to put his dog down last night, (a dog I have known since they brought him home as a puppy and I have been dog sitting for the last 3-4 years) My physical is high, once again probably due to grief, I deal with negative emotions by cranking up music which leads to me jumping and dancing..So it was pretty much on the mark, but I am curious what the other numbers mean...

The positive numbers let you look a week in advance...so you can track for seven days backwards or forwards.
The rhythms more or less show you where your emotional (or mental or physical)levels are. So if you are in the upper register of your emotions you will handle grief better than if you are in the lower register. If your mental curve shows you in the higher percentage you are more likely to understand and do well at your maths.

Now wait, my physical and emotional are in the upper range, but my intellect is in the lower, this means I can handle my physical and emotional feeling, but I am not good in math because the intellect is in the lower range? That makes sense, but what about my other intellect? I have an excellent memory, (well it is starting to dim, but still pretty sharp for my age) I can organize thought in my head, (hence the reason I wrote an 80,000 word novel) and I rarely use a calendar because I know what is going on by remembering.. Maybe I should take a screen shot of mine and you can help me understand it a little better...

Here is the chart for today, similar to yesterdays and I wondering with my physical and emotional on the up side like that and my intellect on the downside, makes me look like I can be a raging emotional wreck without a thought in my mind...

Hey there, MsTickle....I am certainly familiar with the biorhythm charts. Many years ago, maybe 30 yrs ago, a group of my friends and I ran our charts regularly. They were usually fairly close to what was happening to us. I can't remember why I stopped charting; probably got busy with life and it all just got lost in the shuffle. Of course, back then, we didn't have computers and such to help us with them so we did it all manually. You have piqued my interest again so I'll give it a look-see. Thanks.

Well, the charts surely proved out for me today. All levels are below median. So I sit down at computer and there's an antivirus warning that I've got a Win32/Heur Trojan keeping my computer innards company. I don't have time to deal with it right then as my transport to the grocery is due any minute. So I turn the computer off and get ready to go. I go to the grocery and all prices are up. I have just an hour (WalMart) to complete shopping before handicapped transport is due to pick me back up. There's no way I can complete my shopping list in an hour as the electric wheely thingie is going so slow. I have to cut the shopping down and my list is only half done. Checking out, I now have over $100 worth of stuff and this is just half!!! Thankfully, I get back home without having a wreck which I was really expecting with the charts so low. Now the cat is rummaging through the bags and knows she's got new food! She pesters me so persistently that I have to stop in the middle of putting groceries away and feed her. I finally get to get back to the computer and I can't find the damm virus!!! I check the antivirus program and see that virus has been put into the vault. Now I'm ready to check emails, news, myLot, etc., etc. And it's not even noon yet. Do ya think maybe I oughta go back to bed?
Yep, it's nice that the charts can now be done automatically. If not, I'd probably screw up the calculations.

htni mstickle well the way things havent been going for me for half of Feb and so much of march now it did not surprise me i could not get the' biorhytghms thing to work for me. maybe tomorrow. at least at dinner tonigh my knee did not hurt so must be getting a little better. I did a prat fall day after valentines day smack on my face broke my nose, blacked my eyes, twisted my knee and landed finally in the rehab hospitla for past 3o days got back here this past Friday and until tonight my knee has hurt every time I walk b ut at dinner my walk downstairs with the walker it was not nearly so painful so kept my
pain pill for tonight when I go to bed.Maybe my physical is in the red zone right now. I am doomed now to use a walker instead of my quad cane. totally disgusted with myself. this evening I have had to copy paste every post I made after losing them countless times. somethings wrong for sure with my biorhythms thats a given as I cou ld not even get the site to work for me to give me a discription of my self. grrrrrrrrrrr.

My poor darling Hatley. You mentioned you had fallen and hurt yourself while commenting on something else the other day. I had hoped to hear you were doing much better and I'm sorry things have not improved greatly. On top of everything else it seems your computer needs looking at too.
If you could access the site, you would probably discover that your bio-rhythms were probably all on the bottom when you had your fall. Things can only improve my darling friend. Hugs to you and healing thoughts and lots of energy coming your way.

My good friend was just here and he has been working hard and is really tired. I looked up his chart and it was very accurate. I was able to tell him things will get better and easier for him over the next few days.
Glad you like it ...remember to check at least each week.

I remember calculating my own Biorythm chart way back when I first read about them at school..and I've owned a phone that had the calculator built in,more recently! There's probably an app for it,too.. I haven't used them in a while,though..thanks for the link..I'll give them another go!

I think the curves exist. But they are not so accrate, they work only in a rage of time, rather that a certain day.

It is a bit like a horoscope. It's a graph of your mental, emotional and physical states. Above the line is good, below the line is not good. There will be times when your 3 states are all high and you will feel brilliant, happy and powerful. If you watch over a period of time you can see how accurate it is....or not.

....Hi there MsT, Hope you and yours are very well. This stuff fascinates me, and I do think that there is validity to it. Thank you for the site. I will check it out. In my estimation it should be more accurate than general horoscopes. I read something about it a while ago and forgot about it. This stirs up my interest again. I am glad you posted this discussion. Thanks again for the information. Take good care.

Thanks artistry, yes, we are well. I have Dad staying with me at the moment and he is watching the first game of the football season quite happily as I have just given him a foot rub.
I think it is probably more accurate than horoscopes too. I hope you find some genuine insight with it.

I honestly never heard of biorhythm before. I appreciate the information and am looking forward to charting. I will have to come back and let you if I enjoy it and or understand it.
But it appears to be really interesting!

I suppose the biorhythms are the very truth for persons. Maybe menses are some sort of biorhythms. But I guess your phisical condition act as a parameter of your emotional and intellectual curves.and they influence each other a lot.right!
Still I don't think your curves has sth to do with your birth date.It could not be so accurate like that. It's a little bit funny.

I found out about it through an astrology site
also many years ago and wasn't interested in it at first
one day I was just playing with it, nothing else to do at the time
and was shocked by the accuracy
I compared it to my bf at the time and I managed to avoid most arguments that way
but it wasn't a healthy relationship anyway so we didn't end up together
still, it was fun thanks for reminding me

My goodness, m'dear...you have doomed this discussion with me! You have me so intrigued..I have to head right over to the link, and I will, I know, after your description, become so ensconced that it will envelope my spare time. When I get intrigued...I REALLY get intrigued...and this sounds like something REALLY worth seeking!!! Thank you...thank you, for sharing!

It is interesting, this is the first time i have heard about it! I will try a few days to see if it works or not.
I do believe our life is coming up and down just like cycle. However, can the cycle be calculated in such exact number of days?
I am also thinking about that maybe it is a self-realization. We think it works and we may do something to make it works! But I think even it is really self-realization, it can still be good. All depends how we use it.

Interesting…It is nice to know that I am feeling harmonious today LOL! I don’t dismiss this because I do believe that our energy can change periodically although I don’t understand how our birthdate is involved. I‘ve saved the link and I’ll go back to it every few days and see how accurate it is.

Not at all. I don't believe it's been picked up by anyone. If you read the notes at the site it was a doctor who noticed the different phases his patients were going through so he conducted a study to see what he could come up with. I'm pretty sure there was more information on-line but I have not had a chance to check it out. I have my dad visiting and he is keeping me on my toes. I have always found it to be accurate.
