how does ebay works?? only for wholesales?

Hello everyone i have register one member in E-bay and post some product in that website. but no one give a look at them, i do not know, at least so far i couldn't receive any order form this website, i think e-bay it's not good for wholesale, becoz most company didn't like to deal with us or some distributor , more like the make coopertion with manufactroy. right???? oh my god! i care my busienss , did anyone to give me some great idea to light me up?

Hi Ci__Ci, welcome to myLot. Without knowing what your line of business is, it would be difficult for anyone to offer advice. With ebay, you need to make sure that you have listed your products in the right category where the would be buyer would find easily when they search for it. I have a bit of a problem understanding here. Are you a wholesaler or Retailer?

The way I interpreted below was that she was a seller and since her product did not get bids that she feels it is not a good site for individual sellers, is how I see the discussion but now reading your response, not sure??

My confusion is she put 'Only for Wholesales?' in the topic. That, to me, sounds like she's individual seller. In the main discussion, she wrote, 'i think e-bay it's not good for wholesale' A bit conflicting, wouldn't you say?

yes i am a individual sale by currently i have no goods in my hand but i had tried to contact out local manufactory which is producing my item, price was good on there but no one back email to me? confused? my list is not eye catcher?

I am a new member of eBay and I signed up two weeks ago. I immediately sold 3 products the first week. Sometimes it takes one or more re-listing before you actually make a sale. The demand is high and so is the competition. Did you do a search for your similar product and compare what others are selling for. There are some products for instance one of mine I put in for bid for 99cents and it sold for $45 dollars, which was a really good sale for the product I sold. Also did you upload a picture of the product and were descriptive as well?

To test it out I put some printer toner inks, a portable dvd player and cosmetics and all thankfully sold. Since I am new to ebay I really do not know what are the common things to sell, but the good thing is that if they do not sell, you do not have to start over, just re-list it and since it did not sell there is no charge to re-sell. Don't give up you might be surprised on what people buy. Some people will buy just abut anything on ebay.
