Kind of at the last minute I joined a dance appreciate class my boyfriend was taking and it was more awkward then anything. I felt like I either wanted to super act like a couple or not at all.
During these boring movies I few times I wanted to hold his hand and it annoyed him and pretty much hes not big on PDA (public display of affection) so I mean no one in that class would know we were a couple by the way we acted. It probably just looked like we were just friends.
And he and I have been together off and on for 5 years.. why cant we enjoy a class together??
And while I partly felt needy for affection in classes another part of me felt claustraphobic we were there together. Like he was a distraction.
Is this normal??

I had an experience like that before when my boyfriend and I took almost all the same classes together. He was not really very bright as a student and he doesnt excel in class and I did. I think he didnt like it so I guess that was one of the reasons why he broke up with me. It touches his ego.

I feel so as long as your boyfriend and or you are not upset about the clingy aspect then there is nothing to be concerned with. Some people just do not like to show PDA while others are all for it.
I do enjoy a great deal of quality time with my boyfriend but also like the alone times too. Maybe after a while you both will find that the together time is what you both need and or with time you both will find that a little alone time is great also, because then when you do see each other later it makes it that much more fun time together.
