Can this be done?

Hi again,
This question may belong on a computer tech support forum but I bet we can turn it into a discussion that would involve (hopefully for my benefit) several points of view on how to do this in case it can be done.
At work I have my PC (Windows XP Pro SP3) hooked up to a wifi internet spot using a Belkin 54Mbps USB hub.
Now, bare with me a little, because of the limited resources we have, another PC in my area needs internet connection too, and only one Belkin USB hub is available, but, we have a Wireless Linksys WRT54G router on hand which I've read but not quite have understood, that it could be possible (?) to hook it up and connect it to the wifi spot at work.
That way, in theory, we could have wireless connection for both PC's ...
I know, I know, I could just go out and buy a wireless antenna or whatever for myself and that's that, but the idea is to have a little discussion to see if what I read is possible.
Your opinion is much appreciated.

I have wireless set up here in my home. The only thing that is connected to my computer is a Belkin USB network adapter (wireless G). And I'm on XP, SP3. The modem and router are across the room. Router has a range of 400 ft. and is capable of handling more than one computer. I'm thinking your 2nd computer would need a network adapter, interface card and ethernet connection. I'm not a tech and am just self taught and have reading ability and a little common sense. But don't take my word here as gospel. So, in my opinion, what you are wanting to do IS possible.

Hi yoyo1198,
I hope so, it is not a big deal but I'm a little insistent on trying until I can't do it myself, that's why I'm looking for the public's opinion.

We have router at home that can be connected to up to 10 computers/slots.
Now,all you have to do is install the router, but the problem is,you are using a USB hub for internet connection, the problem is,how can you connect the USB hub to the router.
Okay,i am not a technician expert, but, still i wonder how will you be able to connect the router to a USB hub.
Let the experts say their opinion here

Hi jaiho2009,
The router doesn't have a USB slot where to connect it, the Belkin wireless USB hub is connected to my PC and I was "planning" on getting ideas, if possible to connect the router on the second PC to receive internet connection.

Does the second computer have a wireless card? This is the most important issue here. It's not possible to hook up to a wifi network without a wireless card or a configured network on that computer.
If it does, then you have to set the network connections to allow it to connect to the internet wirelessly.
I don't know exactly how this works as I'm back on a wired connection, and I'm sure there's others out here who could help you more than myself.
If the wifi connection is password protected, the second computer user will need that password in order to get online.
Most networks are password protected, they should be as it keeps all computers on it safe.

Hi kris182_2000
The second computer does not have a wireless card, we kind'a "share" the Belkin USB hub so we can connect each one to the wifi spot.
My idea or intention is basically use the router let's say like a "wireless receiver"
