I was just looking at my younger brother play on my iPod Touch I let him borrow. This makes think of the past. Kids of today's society play with the latest electronic accessories and what not. What toys, gadgets, or gismos did you play with when you were a child? Thanks ahead of time!

I grew up way before electronics. I had one brother and we would play board games like Monopoly, Sorry!, Clue, checkers, and a few others. I had one doll; a walking doll which was quite a new thing. We also had Tinker Toys and a set of plastic bricks (very small) which we used to build little houses and other buildings. I can't remember their brand name. My favorite toy was a Socko Paddle. I don't even know if those are still being made. Even into my adult years, I continued buying them. We enjoyed all of our toys and didn't miss what we didn't have.

I am now 34 years old and the only high tech toys I remember during my time was game and watch and Nintendo family computer wherein super mario and luigi were among the most popular game character then. Those were my only high tech toys that time, unlike nowadays that market were flooded with so many high tech toys and gadgets. Me and my playmates enjoyed playing hide and seek, foot ball, dolls and cooking toys and reading books. I think its much better for it develops camaraderie, sportsmanship and good health for we exercise a lot thru play way back then. Have a nice day!
