Yes i think that Bangladesh can do that. Maximum player of Bangladesh team is very young and full of talent but always they can't show there talent because of lack of confidence. So if they play with confidence then they can make semi final very easily.

They have a chance, like kenya did in the 2003 world cup, now the win against england will help the bangladeshi batsmen's confidant and they might do a miracle.

surprise with your word miracle. Don't you think they play good cricket. They are now in no 8 position in world ranking. They have the ability to beat any team. They have prove them. They are not sub-team like kenya so if they can make it to semi that will not a surprise and miracle is a word of laugh for them.

I think before the semis they need to qualify for the quarterfinals. I think they have a good chance of making to the semis thanks to their upset of England. If they beat the Dutch convincingly, then they will be in with a chance for the quarterfinal. If England lose to West Indies then this win should be good enough.

I think the best position in their group will be 4th and to reach the semi's they will have to beat Australia in the Quarter finals. I think it is unlikely to happen as much as I would like to see Bangladesh reach the semi-finals.

The question should have been "can they make it to the quarter finals".They have to work really hard to push england behind them in the table and enter the quarter final.Now there is a chance because england has lost their matches against ireland and bangladesh.If they lose to WI then bangladesh will have good chance as well.Had south africa defeated england in their game then bangladesh would have easily kicked england out of the tournament.But still they have a chance.

We have nine teams who have got test status my friend and all are capable of making it to semis so why not Bangladesh.As of now their position is uncertain and it depends upon result of match between England and WI.Bangladesh can win against SA and qualify directly too.Shakib and Tamim needs to contribute more in batting if Bangldesh has to reach Quater finals as their bowling is good but they need a batsman who can carry the innings something similar to what Imrul Kayes did against England.
