hi jameygc,
I understand that you want your cat to look good but i suggest you should consult a veterenarian or go to a pet saloon for a better advice because using a nail polish for human can cause your cat an illness we know that nail polish has a chemical contents that can harm both human and animal .

They do indeed make nail polish for pets that is non-toxic. So if you're going to paint her nails, I would go to PetCo or somewhere like that to buy it instead of using human nail polish which could kill her or at the very least make her very sick.

Hmm, there's a chance she might ingest some of it while washing? They use the paws to wash their face etc, so she'll lick the claws not only when she's washing her feet but also her face, ears etc. Also, cats use their paws to hunt, fetch things from under furniture, and then the nail-polish might chip and it'll be easier to swallow some of it. And that's not really good. Nail-polish isn't meant to be eaten :-)
And I'm pretty sure she's pretty with normally coloured claws too. Most cats are ;-)

What does your cat think? Is the product you used safe for animals who might chew it off? Your cat is beautiful just being a cat, why not appreciate her that way.

That's funny, painting a kitty nails because the nails are so small. And i don't know but it maybe harmful to the cat.I know you won't ever do such a thing again.
I just keep wondering if some of those folks who are always so hard on us ever made a mistake.

I would highly doubt that your cat would die from this but I guess anything is possible. I do think though it is not life threatening that you should not color them as this is a cat were talking about not a human girl. Cats are meant to be natural and those chemicals are far from that. Think about the cat first next time please.

You did what? It's an animal, their claws are not for decoration. What if your cat decides to try to remove the nail varnish with it's mouth? I think you should think again before doing such a thing, if you want a baby have one but don't treat a cat like a human.
