Did you ever eat dog meat?

Hello Toyota4k, I have never eaten dog meat and I will never do this. I am a dog lover and I can't imagine how people can buthcer man's best friend. I think it would be like I'd eat my friend. I understand this is part of your culture and people are eating dog meat for ages there, but I wonder: if there are dog lovers in your area, how do they cope with the killings that take place around them?

hello toyota4k, Glad to know that you are against this in my country selling and butchering a dog is prohibited its just sad that some people still eat dog meat i never tasted dog meat and i dont plan to taste it as a dog lover i will never do that it makes me sick . have a nice day!

Hi. toyota4k. Welcome to myLot! I have never eaten dog meat before. I don't think I will ever eat it either. There is just no way. I can't eat the meat from an animal that I may love or care for. To me, I never thought that it was very clean and healthy to eat dog meat.

Yeah! dog meat is cool. I have eaten dog meat too. But I do not find it delicious. Now I do not eat it anymore. This is specially when the dog meat came from our own dog. Besides it is already prohibited in my country to butcher dogs just for their meat.

Hello, Toyota4k. I have to check your profile first before responding and my hunch was right. You are from the Philippines and Baguio City. It ain't cool to eat dog meats. I believe you are already aware of the many campaigns launched in your city against dog meat trading and dog meat eating. I never tasted a dog's meat,and I am absolutely sure that I will never ever taste it, unless ,I am fooled. I just couldn't imagine the gory look of those four legged friends while they are being butchered, not to mention the way they were treated while going to the slaughter house... Please continue supporting animal welfares.

I have never ate dog meat and i will never eat it.I think that a dog is a domestic pet or a working pet, so no and if i did find people that did eat dog meat then knowing that it is against the law here i would report it.I also think it is a way an animal is killed as well why people would not eat certain meats.

i would never eat dogs... i love dogs! unfortunately when i was working in south Korea i had the unfortunate incident of eating a hot soup with dog meat. I swear i didn't know it was dog meat. It was winter and we were really suppose to eat this soup with pork ribs and they taste really good. But on that fateful day, we chanced upon this restaurant and ordered using the local name and they served us the other kind which is dog meat T.T Never again, though. That was the first and the last.

Yes, I tasted the dog meat but that's a long time ago, it's delicious and my body is warm after eating dog meat. But if you ask me to eat dog meat again, I will say no, because I think of a lot of alternative meat like goat meat. Yes, I heard also the health hazards of eating dog meat. The government also is prohibits eating this meat. Stop eating dog meat, After all, they are our MAN'S BEST FRIEND, right?

no mate. i have not eaten dog's meat. it is prohibited by my religion. it has also heath hazard a lot. Rabies is most important among them and it's mortality rate is 100%.In my religion all carnivorous animal is prohibited and obey this.

No Thank God it is not Legal to Sell or Serve Dog Meat in the USA that are Considered House Pets. I will never try it as long as Beef, Chicken and Turkey are Available for Consumption. Hi Dear Toyota! In India consumption of meat is associated with religion! Like Hindus they don't eat beef here and similarly the Muslims don't eat Pork! Thus here in our country there are few meats like Mutton (Meat of Goat/sheep), Beef, pork and chicken are mainly eaten. But then for a change people try variety of meats like Rabbit meat, wild boar meat, Tortoise meat, meat from various birds etc. Nowadays they are even rearing emu bird for the purpose of meat! There are few states which are situated in the north east part of India, are situated at hilly region. There the local population they consume Dog meat and it is available in local market on regular basis, other wise barring from these states we don't get Dog meat so i never had any opportunity to taste it! I possibly wouldn't even taste it for two reasons, first one as we were taught in our college during meat inspection subject that the meat of carnivore animals is rich is Vitamin A and that may be detrimental to health and the second one is that I am a dog lover I can't think eating a dog as I believe dog is the best friend of mankind! I have been opposeing to eat the dog ,I think it really is too cruel to dog,they are also fleshed out,they have a life of ideas,they should be protected,we should try to stop to eat dog meat,everybody come together advocate!

i did it once, but that was way back when i was young. i think i was just 7 or 10 years old and i have no idea that it was dog meat. right now, i'm a dog lover and i'm totally against eating dog meat.
