What can be done to improve your blog readership ?

Hi guys, Just wanted to know that what can be done to increase blog readership and get more and more visitors reading your blog. it seems quite hard to maintain a good readership. What steps have you guys taken ?

You should primarily focus to have frequently updated, high quality, fresh and unique content that has the caliber to be shared on other sites and on social bookmarks. Be sure you have easy to notice RSS feed. I centralize my blogs around social marketing and SEO by giving away content that can be syndicated at EzineArticles and other directories.

ok thanks for the comment. i am also trying to focus on one particular niche. anyways lets see how much it improves over time.

Mylotters can help each other to improve the viewership of his/her friends' blogs.Visit the blogs and make come good comments.Of course this will increase the readership.But the blogs should be updated regularly, otherwise visiting friends would be dis-appointed.I am ready to follow others' blogs if they are doing so.

I've found that writing regularly (I do a daily post), including lots of photos, always replying to comments and spending time reading other blogs and commenting sensibly on them has really helped build up my readership. But the main thing is to enjoy what you're doing because that comes over in the blog and makes it attractive. Keep blogging! Stephanie
