I'm Starting To Like MyLot

I am not exactly what you would call new here (as you probably gathered from my post count), however, I was never one of the more popular members so I doubt anybody remembers me from years ago when I was a regular - I only just now started up again after a very long time way from here. You sound like your heart is in the right place - if you focus on all the enjoyment you'll get out of MyLot instead of the money, then you'll probably fare very well here. Those with such an attitude definitely seem to be the ones who earn the most, in addition to the sense of satisfaction they get from talking to many wonderful people. I am glad that you have come to realize that mylot is so much more than earning. When I first joined mylot, I was in it for the money too, but then I came to reaslize the same thing that you have. Well I just started today. Well more like a few hours ago. As you stated the discussions are very intresting and fun to read. I must admit I think I am hooked by the site also...

I haven't used this site much over the years, but the more I do the more I like it. I really like community sites like this, they have been very helpful to me over the years. Seems like you will always find some one to chat with, and to get paid for it is great. I never understood why people would use other sites that don't pay.

When I first joined mylot, by the way, welcome, I too joined for the money. It didn't take me very long to get motivated once I started to work the site. The problem in the beginning for me was that I signed up and didn't work the site. And then I forgot all about it and about a year later my nephew told me about the site and so I signed up again and after realized that I was already a member from a year before so I closed that account so that my nephew could be my referrer and he could earn from my work. So then I started using the site and at first got really excited. I earned the $10 minimum payout in the first two weeks I was here. That got me going so much that I earned another $20 the next two weeks and my first payout was $30. That was it for me, I posted here in mylot for 8 to 10 hours a day after that. I needed the money since I couldn't work offline at the time because of my health. So after 3 years of posting lots here and earning pretty good my health improved and I was able to go back to work and didn't depend on my earnings online anymore. So I ended up slowly, not working mylot so much for about a year or so. Now I am working the site again, not for the money, but for the company. Have a good day my friend, Chris

Welcome to mylot! I have been with the site for a few years, but I have been inactive more than active. I agree that you can gain friends and wisdom. Make sure you respond to anyone who responds to you (unless all that they say is "ok" or something like that). You can communicate, but if you provide thoughtful responses, you can earn as well. Most discussions are really interesting and I love to read what others have to say. We may differ in opinions but definitely, there is always something we can learn from each other. The rewards and the money are just really a bonus once you start enjoying everything here at mylot. I have learned a lot here in mylot. Even with current events and all that. Well me too. when I just started coming here I was thinking about the money. Then I realized that we cannot make a lot of money here. so I decided dont come back. But,,,,,hahaha.. I just love the discussions and those people and their thoughts! I can walk away from this site anymore..hahahaha! well hope we can still enjoying this little place of peace! welcome!

Same here,i joined it because of its socializing feature, my purpose is also earning but the sharing moment as you respond and join discussion makes it more interesting than by just plain hi and hello. It has sense to go on a conversation being accepted,rewarded,rated and earns.

I am glad to know that you are starting to like mylot.My story is also similar to you.When i came to this site,i just came here for earning.Then i started making few friends over here.I also got answers to the questions i asked on mylot.I also answered some discussions and got a few best response. I also got many new earning opportunities from mylot.When i got my first payment from this site.I decided not to leave the site but continue to make more friends and help others in their problems.

Flapiz i totally agree with you! I was a social netorking site addict. But from the day i joined mylot (thanks to my friend sincere4frdship for referring me this site)i just can't get enough of it. There is so much to do here! I think by far this is one of the site which helps us express exactly what we feel and even can connect to others. We get to know so much from here. Its just awesome. And i love bein in this site.....Mylot rocks!

I am starting to like it here as well! I have no idea how to earn here, but I like this community, and I am sure I'll figure out how to earn on MyLot pretty soon!
