How will you maintain a good relationship/faith with GOD?

It's true that praying all the time and reading his words will keep you close to him. But it's hard to communicate and to keep your faith to an invisible God. Although sometimes you can really feel his presence but you can't see him. Sometimes, questions are popping on my mind. Sometimes I asked if God is really true. But I will just look on my surroundings and my question is answered. It's hard to read the bible when you're too busy everyday. It's hard to pray when you don't have problems. So, how will you maintain your good faith to Him?

Praying isn't just about taking our problems to God, although He wants us to do that. Instead, try praising Him, telling Him that you love Him and that you want Him to be a part of your every day life. Talk to Him about everything. He's the best friend you could ever ask for It's good to set aside a certain time each day, but even if you don't have much time, you can pray when you're doing other things.

Yeah, when praying, I always give Him thanks for everything he gave and every blessing that I received. But sometimes I really forgot to pray and give thanks in little things .

Do the best you can and He will know that. You could ask Him to help you remember that He is with you all the time, though and that might help you remember to pray more. Don't look at it as a "have to" thing, look at it as a "get to" thing. It's awesome to think that the God who created the universe actually listens to our prayers.

dedicating your life and everything you do to Him is a way of maintaining good faith. And in everything that you do in everyday of your life, you must put God in the center. The problem with people now is that they only seek God whenever confronted with problems. God is always there for us, we just have to pause for a while and talk with Him every time we're happy, sad, or even if we are busy with something.

Jesus said: My food is to do the will of him who sent me and to finish his work.(John4:34) Jesus had a very good relationship with father but he was not always praying when he was in the world. He did all the will of GOD and was crucified. And the purpose we maintain the good relationship with GOD is also just to do the will of GOD.

I was a college student and I realized my priorities were wrong. All day I would go to school and listen to teachers talking about science, math, ect. but then God told me that I was focusing on school too much. Make sure you have God first in your life. Put everything else secondary. Learning in a secular environment can be difficult, so make sure you analyze what your teachers say.

maintaining a good relationship with God isn't really hard all you have to do is have faith and everything is easy, don't be a fool to ask yourself if God is really true, if you have questions in mind then your faith is very low.... i don't exactly know how to maintain it but faith is my source of maintaining a goos relationship with God

I agree with hazeljoymilloria, we need to pause. Why? Because happiness can make you forget everything, being alone make you remember something more important that so very essential to life. Me too have a struggle in life that I need to fight everyday. I pray to GOD that I need strength and His wisdom to win the battle. Focus in GOD's glory... =) Can I add you in my friendlist here in mylot? Have a nice day!

by believing that God is there for us,saying prayers and doing the things that He teaches Us to do..simply by not taking advantage other people that's is the most important lesson for me in following what God wants us to do..Loving our neighbor as we love are selves..
