Fashin Accessories Ideas to Go with a Career/Business Professional Outfit

Hey everyone, I'm thinking about what accessories I should co-ordinate into a business/career/professional outfit and it's hard for me to do so working on a budget. I don't like the cheap end stuff that would tarnish or turn your skin green after many uses of wearing it. I prefer something along the lines that would not do that. I'm thinking bracelets, necklaces, earrings... I don't know what site I should look off of nor where to start. I could get nice "elegant" looking jewelry at the mall but they're pricey and some of them tarnish/turns skin a greenish tinge leaving an outline of that area after many uses of it. If you got any suggestions, or ideas... Please voice them. I wanna look professional and fashionable/trendy in my class. I've got outfits picked out already; japan and korean fashions could never fail me. xD I'll try looking at Hong Kong fashions too. Color's I'm working with are whites, blacks, greys, and I'll try to play around with navys.

Keep it simple! Personally I'd go for pearls every time, imitation ones of course, but I bet a lot of people wouldn't be able to tell the difference at a glance anyway! Pearls are just so classy and elegant and will always be fashionable. Silver is also a good option but is not always cheap, so it depends on your budget really. A nice string of pearls and a pair of pearl earrings will dress up any outfit. And of course they make a nice contrast when worn with black or navy, especially in a brooch as suggested by Jazzsue. It's a good idea to check out your local charity shops and I'm sure you'd find a nice set on e-bay too. I thoroughly agree with Hardworkinggurl too.. avoid the bling bling if you can!

i agree with consortium.. if you wanna go with simple yet classy, pearls would be your best option. they are never overstated and it looks so classy. a pair of pearl earrings with necklace would do. or since most of the colors you picked are a bit dark, you may also try silver or gold. just dont overdo your jewelry especially during the interview. earrings, necklace, and a watch would do. just make sure that whatever you wear, you will look confident and comfortable in them, because at the end of the day, the interviewer wouldnt really look too much on your jewelry but how you show yourself during the interview and how you answer. good luck!

I would say that absolutely nothing flashy or to vibrant. No bling, bling. LOL Silver jewelry is very cheap and lasts for ever. If you search properly you can find a great many reasonably, low priced and often times on clearance. There are pieces that have a bit of design and color, like with a stone. I have tons of it and virtually pretty cheap and baking soda and toothpaste will immediately restore it luster and shine. I would say gold as well simply because it too can last forever, but then price is a factor. Silver will never turn green. It can tarnish if exposed to moisture and light for long periods but again with a small toothbrush, I kid you not, it will shine like new each time. Best of luck and with work.

My careers advisor said keep jewellery understated, but a nice brooch makes a powerful statement in an interview, especially if your outfit otherwise lacks colour. Brooches are rarely worn nowadays, and the interviewer may remember you because of it. And it won't turn your skin green either! I buy a lot of jewellery from charity shops - some people make new jewellery to sell there.
