My friend put a headset while studying. She said that she can easily understand the topic she study while listening to her favorite music.
Mother can do the household chores fast and easy while singing with the radio on.And she can even dance few steps while cooking.
While doing Mylotting, I let the Youtube video open for some nice songs.I feel not sleepy even it is too late while doing Mylot with a music is a perfect match.

Yes, it can lighten my mood. and while doing the house chores you can dance with the music. you can finish all your work without feeling so tired and restless. It also help you unwind when you're loaded with problems. Happy listening. Be happy

Back when I was in school,I love listening tomusic while working on my assignments. It has been very effective for me. I find it very relaxing and helps me think better. Some people though sees this as a distraction. I guess it depends on every individual.

Only when it's the type of work that I don't use the brains, for example cooking or something. Now to write stories I can't listen to music with lyrics, only instrumental like movie soundtrack. But the right music is actually prefered than silence, it really helps to work.

Hi zearah, Normally in the background I have music on. Depending on what I am doing or my mood determines the choice in music. But I don't think I could ever study with music in the background. The same as I can't sleep with music on.
Music can be so relaxing at times or can help lift the spirit and motivate you into getting on with a task quicker. Also, there are so many different styles and types of music how can anyone get bored with listening to it.

It depends on the work I do.
If I have to no concentrate I can even listen to music, otherwise is better the silence.

Listen to music gives me more energy when I walk and jog. While doing my study I prefer silence for full concentration. Cooking and baking I like to listen to music.

When I was still young, I can't live without music even when I was sleeping, I had my radio with headset on. But now I'm already in my 40's I wanted silence especially when I'm doing something. I'm a musician and a composer but it does not mean I wanted to hear music everytime I'm doing something. It depends upon the person. It's not true to all.

Human have sensors that needs feedback so as to satisfy it. Music for hearing, the screen for sight, keyboard for touch, a cup of coffee for taste and smell.
Isn't it satisfying when we have all our senses fulfilled.

Not only can I concentrate with music but really when you think about it, I cannot concentrate without it. Well I could, but my work would not really get done as well or as quickly without music as opposed to with it. There is just something about music that really does increase the flow of everything and makes things much easier to complete.
Therefore music is really a part of my life and a part of what I do with my work. Therefore, I keep the music flowing throughout the day, as I do a lot of things during my day. Music just allows the day to move along a lot easier. Not to mention the fact that I have a variety of things that I do and with music that are done. Therefore, it is a key part of my concentration and a key part of the productivity that I attempt to create in my day.

Hi there,
sad to say i can't focus on my studies while listening to music. i am like the total opposite of my boyfriend when it comes to that because music makes him work better with his papers and everything else heheh
and i really can't study if my surroundings is not quiet :( i feel weird but then what can i do? i am like that when it comes to when i write or study. but when i do household work then i am okay with music, i can listen listen to it all day... just except when i study and write something

It depends on what kind of work I do;if I hacve to study something I can't do it with music, but if I'm on mylot I enjoy it because it appears to stimulate my thin king,so I completely agree with you that my favourite music and mylot are a perfect combination.

i always listen to music when i work. i tend to find my music stimulates my brain and makes me work harder. I tend to get distracted if i don't, as well as procastinate if it's silent.
I wish you could listen to music in exams, would make my results a lot better lol
