India - Pakistan semifinal clash at Mohali?

I see three teams from pool B making it to the semis, if not all four. India has played with a strategy thus far and the introduction of ashwin has changed the equation some what. India have done well to delay the introduction of Ashwin, this may not be understood now but after the world cup is over people will understand in hind sight.If Nehra and Munaf play to potential Dhoni will find it easier. Well let us not rule out Sreesanth who can provide the twist in the tail.If India plays just the one seamer and three spinners Australia will find it tough. But against Pakistan Indian bowlers will have to come up with something special.

i don't think that India can win this match as Indian batting attack is not going now a days and only 2 or 3 batsman are playing well. If for one sec we assume that Indian batting will not collapse next time and India will make a bi score, then its worth nothing for Australian batsmen as they are in good form and India bowling has in its worst performance. They cant protect any score whether it is 500 or something. India will not qualify for semifinals.

There may be a chance of Indo-Pak match. And in fact, it should be played, because i dont have fully enjoyed if this two rival countries are not opposite to each other at cricket ground. well india pak match at any stage of the tournament is going to be big, if its going to happen in semifinals, then really its going to be very big. surely aus is the 3time champions and india is going to face the defending champions. but I dont think that will be a pressure factor for india, because they are now not having the same strength as they have in the past. now for India the home crowd will put more pressure on the team rather than the opposition. and one more thing, aus has been defeated by pak in the group stage so they have tasted the defeat. that itself shows that aus is not the one who feared as the champions. Anyway lets hope that india will beat australia and set a chance to have inda pak match. actually i would have loved to watch india pa final, but now its only chance for a semi. I have already heard that ticket price for the semifinals in mohali has been rised, so that itself shows the expectation of India-Pak match.

Yes and i am very lucky i live very much near to chandigarh ( mohali ) and my tickets for the semi final match are already booked so i am going to watch anyways pakistan i love afridi and if india comes i will be stupendously happy and really come alive . what a great atmospere it will be . the ICC monopoly for India has been good enough it will surely help india win the world cup in a convincing manner although the performance has been near to poor as far as comparing pakistan and south africa.

India VS Pakistan would be great to watch. Australia is tuff competition in quater final. But I am sure this time India will make it. I am already exited about next game.

Well I am already seeing this match in mohali because I think India has the potential to defeat Australians. How? I Know That Australia will go all out to defend their Crown but they did not have enough Fighter's in their team. Their bowling is lethal but India have power blasters. What India have extra to defeat Aussie's? Its true Indian bowling is lacking ability to out opponent teams but they have ability to chase out any total which Australia lacking right now. Every one is waiting for this match to happen and we hope it must happen. As you said it would be easy for pak to defeat wi and IND have to play with stregnth to win over aus. I think IND will do that as they defeated them in warmup match but yes IND have to play with full potential. The only concern for INDIA is bowling and little bit the lower middle order batting if they bowl well and field well definitely no body stop them to have the worldcup in their hand.

i will love to watch the maqtch if it happens but i dont think it will happen.. it will be one of the most exciting match in this world cup.. india pakistan is always very exciting to watch & in the world cup it will be very entertaining if it happens it will go to the wire.

I will glad to see that match but its too early to say because first India has to beat Australia and Pakistan to beat West Indies and in cricket anything can happen so its a discussion we should start after those matches than it will be better...but i will be very happy if both India and Pakistan wins their Quarters and Meet at Semi's...
