In our family, we prefer a breakfast with rice and delicious vegetables or any viand to make it complete.I guess for others it is unusual.Bread and drinks for us is serve for snacks.

hi zearah! when i was still living with my parents we always have rice/fried rice for breakfast, usually it comes with other fried foods and some tomatoes, hehe and a cup of coffee! and even if she already prepared some rice meals, she also have some "pandesal" on the side. hehe but now since its just me and my husband, it depends on my mood. haha if i am in the mood for cooking then i will cook rice and a viand but when i am feeling lazy and get up late, i just prepare sandwich and coffee for him...

we filipinos are always on the go. and most of us gets up late in the morning. actually, that makes us always in a hurry, we don't want to be late for work. and so, like most of them, i get up a little late and so, breakfast is usually skipped and a cup of coffee will do the rescue for the rest of the morning.

For Filipino people mostly living in the city, yes they are always in hurry and many times the breakfast is not heavy due to lack of time for preparation. But people like us living in provinces, we rise too early in the morning as 3 am to 4 am, it becomes a habit though or a mind set. Thus a heavy breakfast meal is a form part of our daily ritual in life.

I have always loved rice for breakfast. They say eat like a prince during breakfast. It is always good to be full early in the morning so that you will have all the energy for the whole day.

I'm usually good with coffee and bread although sometimes I eat rice and fried somethings. Coffee, however, is enough to get me going.

In my house, because everybody is so active, we prefer a heavy breakfast so we eat rice every morning served with hotdogs or sausages, eggs etc. and hot coffee for me, hot chocolate for the kids. For active people i guess you really have to take heavy meal to keep you going. to energized. happy eating.

I live in Australia and what you have for breakfast would be what we have for lunch, I like to have toast with vegemite on it or eggs on toast..

Since I live alone now, my breakfast is bread and coffee. But if I have left over rice, I would make a fried rice for breakfast. But, most of the time, it is bread and coffee.

I don't like to drink coffee at all. Now i do live alone in hostel and my family are so far from me. I do live in hostel for my study. And everyday i have a class in the morning so don't get time to cook rice and vegetable. So i don't eat rice for my break fast. But when i go home then some time i do eat rice with some curry in my break fast. Good luck!

Everyone's preference is unique. I am one that breakfast is a must or I cannot function throughout the day even if I had lunch somehow my body needs the fuel as soon as I get up. I prefer strictly cereal in the morning and coffee because I always have lunch and find that if I eat too heavy I can't complete a lunch. I eat 3, sometimes 4 times a day and it is a must for me so I tend to eat light for breakfast and lunch and make my dinner the heavier meal.

We are same, it's because we are Filipino? It feels different if I leave our house without eating rice in the morning, I think my fuel for that day is not full.lol. Well it is just really different without eating it to start my day.

Hello friend actually in ur country they prepared that, that's why they call it "eat 3x a day". May be depends on the culture and tradition or what people prepare to eat in breakfast - for me at around 6am 3 and 1 coffee, then around 9am I will take everyday oaths with milk, then next 1pm lunch... but according to doctor never skip the breakfast because it is the preparation of the day.. see you around
